IT IS NOW SIX HOURS AND FORTY-THREE MINUTES SINCE LAST LEAGUE GOAL SCORED. TOTAL RUBBISH. >:( >:( >:( >:(

As daft as these scores are, we are really only a Greg Young away from being half decent and competing in this league. The only positive I can think of is that FGR will be too complacent against us on Tuesday.

We still need goals though. 'A Greg Young' will assist in damage limitation which is a good start but we need more than that

Twiss, Denham, Clee, Baynes, Reeves, Beesley - there's got to be goals there somewhere surely.
We have not got a decent left back in the squad and we desperately need cover at centre back.

Really? If that was the case we could class some of our results as unlucky, getting draws etc. We're getting tonked week in, week out.

We're f**king awful and noway could we be considered anywhere near half-decent!

So what (constructively) do people suggest we do to try to improve things?

3-4-3 was a catalyst to better form a couple of seasons ago - and we have nothing to lose!

Get some investment and get some players into the club in January .. ahhh .... That dreams gone ...

I make it the same. Four games without scoring. Twiss scored 2 mins into second half of previous game (v Bath). 403 minutes!

And in that time we've conceded 16 (which is what Crawley have conceded in 19 league games).

Hope that this cold snap persists and all of our forthcoming fixtures are postponed until at least mid-January 2011, thereby allowing us to reshuffle the squad in the January transfer window and hope for better things.

And I'm being serious!

If I wasn't before, I am now convinced that we will be first to be relegated from BSP.  And why would Youngy want to come back to this shambles?  Hardly a good career move really.

In Friday's Manchester Evening News, Alty manager Ken McKenna says "With 26 games still to go, I know we can get out of this mess but it's not me who needs to be convinced of that. It's the players.
If they want to continue playing at this level, they have to realise that it's at times such as this that they have to roll their sleeves up and show what they're made of".

Well when are they going to roll up there sleeves

I'll read the reports from those who were there with interest, but no denying things look very bleak at present.

I don't have an answer as to why this group of players cannot seem to put a meaningful attack together...

Tuesday is a must win of course, if not, I just can't see a way out.

Well done to those who travelled.

I'm afraid to add to the pain but Cambridge weren't exactly up to much. a couple of half decent forwards but that's all it takes I'm afraid.

Not a gutless performance, the only word I can think of is "flat"
