evans is being lined up to take the lincoln job through, how about heatcote to take over!

Evans would be barmy to take the Lincoln job. He'd be lucky to get a 50p. war chest there !

Either he would be able to show his true potential as a manager with little income....

or....

he'd mysteriously find the money from somewhere!

It's funny, I was just wondering where GH might end up next (if anywhere). It seems there's a lot of admiration for the job he did here and I've seen him half-linked with a few jobs. His antics over the years have I'm sure done enough to put a few chairman off, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a Conference club take a punt on him at some point.

Hyde United?

Or even FCUM....?

Though it'd be really weird to see, I reckon he'd do brilliantly with them. His knowledge of the local Non-league game is top notch, whilst ex Alty players seem run riot when they get down to Evostick/Conference North levels.

I think GH can do better than FSCUM / Hyde. he has a record of keeping us up and punching above their weight.  not sure who is at Chester City these days but if he wanted a 5 or 6 year project to work on then that could be the one.

Aye, decent shout that. Still, FCUM's crowds are decent. There's every chance they'll end up in the Conference eventually.

Apparently Crawley's chest isn't as big as imagined:

I often wondered how GH would've done if he had money to spend.

On the Club Site this evening, he's being linked with Stafford Rangers. Their Chairman is a personal friend, so it sounds feasible.
