We have fight and determination again...

That was simply joyous.

Last minute diving headers at the back post? When do Alty do stuff like that?

Say it again, yes we still have a lot of work to do but we never ever gave up ever after such a deflating wonder strike from them when we were on top.

There were on the rack at that point and there was only one winner. What a goal that was.

Where the hell did Smithy get the energy for that 50 yard sprint from nowhere to get that cross in?

First half we looked leggy after Tuesday and should have been 0-0..ridiculous foul on Coates.

We have belief we can get something right until the end...God Bless Ken McKenna.

Amazing. With the score at 2-1 in the dying minutes I didn't feel like the many other times we were a goal down with the game drawing an end. This felt different, it felt like Rushden last year when Denham equilised in the last minute. For some reason I kept telling myself we're gonna score here. Would that be due to the way the fans all fantastically sang after Denhams goal or just  my natural instinct. I do not know but what a fantastic game, and a fantastic point!

My 10 year old laughed at that as he left their player standing...

Some of the players looked knackered at the end before we got our second, but refused to lie down and give in. Chris Denham held his chest like he had a stitch but when the ball came to him it was like it was the first minute - they just didnt want to lose this one and they didnt.
WELL DONE ALTY - YOU DESERVED AT LEAST A POINT TODAY.

Flynnie.. I thought your ball skills at half time were pretty good especially as you were in a Whistle & Flute  ;)

The changes made a big difference tonight as to how we started and the young lad who came in on loan looked very shaky on the left and was making other players shaky as they told him who and where he should be marking,  which did not help our defensive start to the game. However! The manager made changes quickly which made a massive difference and we looked to be getting closer to them in midfield stopping balls being knocked up to their front players. The young lad looked a little more confident on the right but still a little off the pace of the game.

It was swapped about at half time and we looked well capable of winning, the commitment from our players to a man was faultless and we ended the game well on top and could have nicked it with a little more luck.

Our goalie made a couple of great stops from what were goal scoring chances and the draw in the end was still a great result.

The Kettering fans near me were very funny indeed and taunting the Altrincham supporters each time they went in front, how funny was it when we equalised for a 3rd time and looking to win the game, their faces were a picture and to a fan motionless and bottom lips were out.

Great stuff Altrincham!!

Saved me a load of typing Barry H, my thoughts to a tee, a very accurate synopsis of last night's events.
