He had a good first touch, maybe a fitter and full time McAliskey would surprise a few.

You never know he might come back and score against us on the 30th

I often felt he had a bit more to offer but never Football league.  The other lads will piss themselves.  Its on a par with us letting the turkish barber have a go in order to try and get a sponsorship.

However the bottom line is that he was cumbersome and as agile as me.

Its the second oddest news story I have heard this weekend.

Where does Moyo-Modise trialling with us rank?  ;D

Give over, Phil, he was even less agile in an Alty shirt than your mate Darren Tinson!

You'll be telling me next that Wayne Entwistle was as good for Alty as John Rogers...

McAliskey was one of the BIGGEST duffers to have played at Moss Lane in recent years.FFS.

Sorry, but i think you may be mistaking McAliskey for Johnson.
McA hardly ever controlled the thing well, looked as sharp as an airline knife, and as cumbersone as a robin reliant. He had one half decent game, and showed a little potential, though not enough to be viewed as "league" material. There certainly are many, many strikers who will think that they could play in the league if McAliskey gets a gig with tranmere.

You lot will be interested to hear that McAliskey played for Vics in the friendly against Accy this afternoon, he only lasted the first half (although he did come back on late in the second following an injury)....I'll reserve judgement.
