Just wondering who would everyone else suggest?

I can't really say as most players in the league I've only seen play once or twice but Brodie? No.

I think he was the top scorer in the BSP last season but there must be worthier winners than that diving disgrace, surely...

Whilst Brodie is a bit over rated he was the leagues top scorer with 26 goals. It's probably on the basis of that, which is an ok indicator to go on really.

The man has undeniably been a cheating fiend in the past.

However, I very much doubt any of us would shed a tear if he signed for Alty tomorrow.

I, for one, would be MOST unhappy. We are not the sort of club which encourages the sort of whingeing and cheating that are Brodie's stock in trade. If simply being top scorer in the League wins player of the year awards, it devalues them entirely. There are plenty of more worthy recipients in the BSP than that big girl's blouse.

I would have thought the lad Roberts from Stevenage would have been a contender.. Then again defenders dont win those sort of awards..

I wonder how many of Brodies goals were from the penalty spot ?
