Grays v FGR
« on: May 27, 2010, 11:30:14 PM »

Was on the twohundredpercent website when I found highlights of the game

http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=5356

Don't suppose it matters now with FGR being reprieved but a few things.

1. Wasn't this the exact outcome of the match a year earlier that was investigated for dodgy betting patterns?

2. A woeful miss by Jonathan Smith that would've seen FGR safe, as bad as it gets.

3. If we gave someone that much space in the box from a corner to relegate I would never get over it.

4. Most amusingly of all David Hockaday (FGR manager) goes over to clap the away fans, most obviously numbed by event just do what you kind of would do and clap him back but some, possibly younger, possibly a bit inebriated are furious and give him a right load of abuse.

Its such a great video in so many ways, regardless of the fact they will now stay up.

Why on earth does he go over to clap the fans with such enthusiasm!

Awful miss.

I prefer this strike though past Roy Carroll: (fast forward to 28 seconds) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jObsBUpP4Es

He's one of many waiting till the 12th of June to see if he can committ to the club otherwise he'll probably be up for grabs for a Northern based League 2/Conference side......? Over 100 Conference appearences and in his early 20's and one of Jim Harveys last youthful products from the Morecambe Academy.

It was indeed a bad miss.

Far play to the FGR fans for all going dressed as Worzel Gummidge...we never seem to do things like theme days.
