How much influence does this forum have in terms of being the place where people at the club (officials, manager, players etc...) come on to gage the mood of the fans.

Im pretty sure the press release on player signings was a reaction to the worries expressed (quite rightly) by peeps on here. Is this the managers first port of call when checking what the fans think? Is it healthy that in theory forum members could weild more influence than those without an internet connection?

Could GH have used Gunners' over optimistic pre-match predictions as a motivation tool the in dressing room?

.... but seriously, am interested to hear people's thoughts.

I wouldn't be surprised. I suspect the Rowleys & GG look on here at least.

Even if this is the case, it is excellent feedback from GH
