Vics come into money?
« on: May 16, 2010, 07:45:27 PM »

The front page of the NLP says that Vics will take the Conference to the European courts if they are thrown out of the BSN for failing to comply with the competition rules (again)

Funny how it is always the clubs that have no money to pay off debts, that then find some to toss in a barrister's direction

sounds like nonsense to me.  anythign going to the eurppean courts takes a might long time.  no way that'll be sorted before next season.

Im fkn sick to death of reading about clubs like Northwich who basically cheat financially to stay in existance...

Chuck them out of the game until they sort there sh*t out and dont let the crooks who run the club have any input in football ever again

They seem to think that paying the monies agreed at the CVA equals paying their debts 'in-full'......this is their arguement.
I thought they were paying this reduced amount off over a 5 year period, so that does not equal 'in-full' either.
Like Distancetraveller, I am sick of them and their silly 'games'. Throw them out and chuck away the key until they have reformed as a respectable fans run club operated in a sensible manner

5 year plan to pay off debts at 42 pence in pound or something similair...how can that be construed as paid off in full ? think talk of european courts shows that they dont think FA will overule the conference...this could be the top of a very slippery slope ....

Is Rushe trying to outdo Dean Saunders in the stupidity stakes or does he just want a prat of the year award.

Unless i'm misreading this completely Rushe seems to be confusing the requirement to pay an agreed amount of  debt under a CVA to carry on trading,   and the Conference requirement to pay off ALL your debt to enable to to keep on playing in the division.

Unsurprisingly their neighbours are not very sympathetic!

This string of posts makes amusing reading

"The Illuminati and New World Order One Governement are to blame
Draco-Reptilians from the star system Orion are to blame as the colour green signifies witchcraft, devilry and evil"

that made me laugh out loud ..

A good post re: Vics on the Witton site

Victims - It Wasn't Me

Money came in but they caught us red-handed
We just kept borrowing more
Picture this, we kept going bust, but we always went back for more

We had tried to keep it all
From the bank and HMRC
Why should they believe me
When I told them it wasn't me

We never paid our bills, (It wasn't me)
Or the HMRC, (It wasn't me)
We never paid our players, (It wasn't me)
Broke appendix rule E, (It wasn't me

As my hubby pointed out when the news of their going down to the Unibond league came through, before he took over at Vics, didn't Mr Rushe say he wanted to own a Unibond League Team ( at the time a step up from where he had been). Well he has finally achieved his goal so he should be pleased with himself!!!
