I was being pedantic.....not serious!

I hope that Oxford don't progress to the Trophy semi-finals, as we could really do with a healthy travelling support invading Moss Lane on 17th March.

Also noticed a thread on the Eastbourne forum that Northwich travelled down yesterday afternoon.Wonder how all the players managed to get the time off work  ??? ??? ::) They must have great part time jobs to be allowed to do that!!!

Other than that,I am absolutely gutted about it being off.Thankfully I have 1/2 day left to use for me holidays,so I shall use it for the rearranged game.

Okey doke.

I thought you may have just scanned the fixture list and noticed a free Saturday without realising that we did in fact play of the Friday.

Do we have to re-book the away travel for the Northwich game?  Forgive my ignorance but it'll be the first time travelling to an away game with Alty.

Well done to those people still walking to Northwich but I do think it's a bit daft having to do it without the reward of a game at the end

Anyone know why our game at Burton has been moved to the Friday? No international football that weekend. We're not going to be on the telly, are we?

Incorrect, Jimmy.
We are not playing anybody on Saturday, 3rd March 2007......!

True, although that is only because we are away to Burton on the 2nd.

Therefore, in practice it's not really free.

I think it was something to do with the stewards, I think Burton use the same stewards as someone else who are at home on the Saturday.  ???

Indeed that is the case,

Burton Albion use Derby County Stewards, hence the possible proliferation of Friday and Sunday fixtures in the Burton Albion Calendar
