It certainly cheered me up after losing 2-0 to Cambridge... Good attendance today for Colin's final game..

I too believe Peake may have some dodgy wheeler dealings in his mind before next season commences

A bit pissed off that Wrexham finished above us also.

Yes. Got home to find that FGR have been relegated (provisionally, of course, pending Mr Peake's machinations to come) and it really too the edge off my (slight) disappointment today.

Thanks to everyone at the club for a fantastic season which I would have snatched anyone's hand off for last August after the Ebbsfleet game!

some quotes from the FGR forum.  Savour them...

"One supporters reaction after the whistle summed it up " Don't applaud them, they have just got us relegated"

"Don't be upset. We saw at the end which players don't care ..."

"Off to buy a new road map for next season!"

and of course, because FGR buggered it up on the pitch...

"colin get the rule book out....technicality required"

I hope I don't live to regret saying this but I can't even see Peake crawling out of this.

This has to be one of the best days in the history of non-league football. I hope FGR go further and fail to compete in the BSN.

As for Sir C of Peake. hahahahhaahhahahahahaahahaahahhahhaahahhahahahahahaah.

Really has made my day seeing fgr go down

Yes,FGR go down, but I bet their fans feel the same we felt 2 years ago  (ie regardless of the result at weymouth, we would stay up cos of  halifax....in this case, fgr will stay up cos of salisbury)

So even Ebbsfleet have the chance of an AGM Cup reprieve. I'm horribly afraid that actually getting to see the back of Mr. Rulebook and his Whingeing Gloucestershire Tw*ts may be on a par with Basil Fawlty's attempt to get his winnings off that horse !
