Aren't we due an opening day fixture at home?
Or doesn't it work like that?
United are at home that weekend. We are given one option to avoid one premier league club in our case and United have been our choice in previous seasons.

We could probably expect to concede a few less with the new look defence (and defensive midfield cover) but two almost-wingbacks gets me a bit twitchy.

PS. You KNOW you're getting old when not only policemen but fullbacks start looking younger and younger! 😉
😂😂😂😂
It’s when judges start to look young you’ve got to worry.😱

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: The Junior Girls awards 2021/22 season
« on: June 26, 2022, 06:05:14 AM »
Hi All

The above took place today, organised by our beloved head of Altrincham Girls, Rachel Davies. What a superb afternoon for all the girls. A meal, disco with a DJ and of course the presentation of end of season, and also the awards for each team. Our presentation this afternoon was wonderful, and we all enjoyed ourselves very much, both parents and children alike. All the girls received a trophy and well done to all the winners in each age group/team.

Can I also personally and publicly thank Lacie's coach Rob Tanti, and Rachel too, for awarding Lacie the Altrincham FC Juniors Club Sportsgirl of the Year award for 2021/2022. It has not been easy for Lacie since she came to us 18 months ago, as our foster daughter with her sister, Brooke. Altrincham FC Juniors was one of the reasons why Lacie and Brooke have settled so well. She has been given this award because of her values with her colleagues and respect for the opposition, especially if they are injured. She is a true sportswoman, and is loved by her teammates and coaches alike, and also the parents. She has the large trophy on top of her bookshelf in her bedroom and is very proud of her award. This is an achievement against all odds, and I am very, very proud of her. The club has been vital to both Brooke and Lacie settling in with us, and they have played a major part to the girls adapting to their new life. They are staying with us now until they are both eighteen, so the club has two extra supporters ongoing. Most of you know them by sight as they are regular attendees. Thank you so much to the club for awarding this to Lacie, sorry I was in tears when she won it, but I couldn't help myself. Lacie holds dear, everything that the club is about and represents. See you all next season with Brooke and Lacie, should be at most of the friendlies. Have great summer everybody.
Great post Steve. Well done to all the girls involved. How refreshing to read a good news story first thing in the morning. Starts the day off on the right foot. 😀😀😀

It must be just me  :-\ Josh was in the same mould as Ricky Harris, Nicky Daws etc & I believe would have played at a higher level if not for work commitments. Playing him at centre-forward was never going to work.

End of rant, when Alty are not playing Curzon might be the place. Good luck Josh & We'll see you next season (in the National League).
Folks in Bangor on Dee must be quite refined. I couldn’t spot a rant.😂😂😂

A good chance for our two centre backs to show that useless T**t Macguire how to defend properly
You couldn't teach Maguire anything. That's his problem. He knows it all. Do you know who I am bad attitude.

Whatever line of business all the supporters are in, if another company offered to double their wages loyalty would go out of the window and I’d hazard a guess 90% would snap their hands off.
I know football is a different animal but even a manager’s career is not blessed with longevity and fraught with insecurity.
I’d hate to see Parky jump ship. To say he’d be missed would be some understatement. I’d also understand his reasoning.

Reeves miss away AT FGR leading to a 1-0 defeat.

Losing away to Halifax after Watmore missed an open next on BT Sport in 2015.

5-0 away to Boston, 7-0 to Crawley, 5-0 to Eastbourne.

Relegated final day at home TO Eastbourne

The massacre against Fylde x 2

The abysmal showing against FC United at Xmas at Home.

Do try to cheer up a bit mate! 😊😊🤗
Made me chuckle 🤣🤣🤣
