See the official club website for details.
Just for a second I forgot where I was and thought this was going to be the travel arrangements. Anyway, back to real life.

This sums up the lunacy. The police ask (with fixed penalty pad and pen at the ready) “which football club do you support?”
I reply “Well it used to be Altrincham  if I’m honest, but in view of the fact you’ve got a FPN in your hand I’m contemplating buying a Barnton scarf, hat, replica shirt and season ticket”.
Police officer “Hang on, I’ll seek clarification”.
They’ll be no pantomimes this year unless you count sanarios like this. Where’s it all going to end?

I’d provide his transport up here. I’d pick him up in a shotton me bike.

It’s amazing to think that if we were where we were when Parky took over it’d be curtains down on Thursday. 😔 🙁 ☹️

I'm practicing my best Barnton accent
I was told it's pronounced BATON. 😱

Why not Wealdstone (A)?!

Slated for next April, not exactly a date for the diary, we might as well save bigger games just in case we're allowed in at a later date.

Let's get it played.
From our point of view travelling on a Saturday much more convenient with us being part time. Suppose they might argue that if crowds, in some form, are allowed by then they’d miss gate receipts.

True, it definitely suits us more than it suits them - but then again, I'm sure they'd rather get a game played, and we'd hardly be one of their bumper games either.

Worth asking the question.

Called it  :)

Well done to the clubs for getting it on.
Great call Marple. Any tips for the 3.30 at Chepstow?

Further update
No Altrincham fans will be allowed admittance.
You live 10 minutes away and have never heard of AltrinGham TOWN. You'll be fine. Just behave indifferently when we score.

Will 5 consecutive away games be a record?
No. That's a circular bit of plastic with a hole in the middle.
Hth
😂 lol. I'll have to explain that one to my grandson.

It's good to see that we were compliant in changing the date...unlike another club we could mention!
To refuse could mean a 5-0 defeat next game ☺

From what I can gather their capacity is 1,000. I’ve been trying to satisfy my thirst for live football for some time by sussing out a game at Trafford FC. Their stadiums capacity at Pennybridge Lane is around 1,500. They have been allowed 200 to attend matches. They sell tickets via the Shocal app with 25 spaces held back for entry at the turnstile on the day. Not sure what the rationale is behind this. I’ve tried to buy tickets via the app but as soon as they are first posted they’re sold out.
Getting back to Barnton, on Twitter the Alty non league giants are coming on Wednesday, £5 adults £3 concessions. Normally I think it’d be a breeze getting into this fixture. With Barnton not playing again in the foreseeable future after this game and it not being that far for Alty fans to travel (whether they’re supposed to or not) I feel if you decide to go you’ll have to be prepared to be turned away. Think I’ll give it a go unless there’s an update from Barnton which changes the situation.

55 is my target. Beat half the teams at home and draw the rest. Draw half away and lose the rest. 55 points.

On that basis we should be on 4 pts so far so nicely ahead of target

That's a good way of looking at it - and 55 points in our first season back at this level is a reasonable target.

I'm reluctant to set any higher targets than that - remember when Sinnott said something daft like he wanted to score 20 more and concede 20 less - a 40 goal swing?!
Think the only way any manager is going to get a 40 goal swing from one season to another is to move club.

Have Barnton sold off the global broadcasting rights?
Will the stewards be from Dover?

We should wait until the facts are known.

Worrying that it seems that people ignored social distancing guidelines, regardless of other matters.

I bet they had high-viz jackets on! They always think they are above the law!
Sometimes they are the law! 👮‍♀️ 👮‍♀️😁😁

Very competent performance against a poor Dover side who didn't seem to fancy it in the first half. Glad to see we won't be the only club having problems with the pitch this season.

We need to be more of a threat up front though. The only shot on target was the goal.

Was really going to shift us up the table until King's Lynn and Weymouth got late winners.

I suppose they couldn't have switched it to the cricket pitch... :)

To be fair, it's  all about what we do at the end of the day, and we appear on course, at this early stage, for the 55-80 points that I would consider a decent return from the season - and after a few injuries too.
If we get 55 points and don’t go down (which would be somewhat unusual) that’d be ok. I was only thinking last week that if someone offered us 20th place I’d be loathe to accept even though we’d stay up. It’s just that I believe we are better than that. If it pans out we finish 20th so be it. If we get reasonable luck from now on with injuries, suspensions and run of the ball, I don’t think it’s unreasonable for us to get 70 odd points. I am biased but hopefully not deluded!
