Alty town centre is a joke at the moment; id b surprised if Topmans opening there the missis works for Arcadia and has hered nothing

Just a rumour I heard yesterday,  I was hoping for somthing decent, like a pizza express. Then again why they would want to open oppposite the altrincham interchange, which is a sewer rats dream location that consistantly stinks of piss.

Where the hell will half of Alty go to the toilet now?

Indeed, on many occasion I've nipped for a "macsh*t" They actually closed at 9pm on saturday and had the place stripped, signage down and boarded up before the bloody chip fat would have gone cold!!!!, an incredible feat by the shop fitters involved as it was all done before midnight!!!!

The site is going to be a TOPMAN apparently

NOTE TO SELF:
Read the thread in full before posting to save yourself adding a pointless already discussed addition

All those that can travel to St Albans city on saturday must try and  make the effort to go to hertfordshire, its a massive game for the club and if the players see a a few hundred travelling fans on the away end we can really make up that 12th man. I know that supporters coach is well subscribed already, Ive got a full car, and we must hope that all the southernm based exiles can make it to clarence park. Come on,one last big effort and we can roar the lads home.

Good point:

Would any planning permission be required for new floodlights given Moss Lane's location?

The residents opposite the ground have complained on numerous occasions about the intensity of the floodlights in the past.  If they were to be improved, any application to TBC would need to be notified to those residents.  However, if they are more efficient and do their job properly in that they illuminate the pitch rather than Moss Lane, Hale as a whole, they may be convinced of the benefit  ???

People who buy houses near a football ground thats been standing for near on 100 years should be given NO consideration, dont buy a f**king house near a stadium and then  complain about floodlights, traffic, parking, noise, superficial changes to the stadium, stupid people. Its like the "moss lane action group" one fella on sandleigh ave that had nothing better to do with his time apart from moan about a footballl club that he'd decided to become neighbours with!!!  >:(

Released by Marine, surely worth giving the lad a chance knowing his previous talents, might inject that bit of pace we lack.

I dont have a go at the stewards, I have a go at everybody for f**k sake,it was a joke.I thought this forum was supposed to be light hearted?
Phil Are you suprised people are critical of some of your posts when you seem on occasion to have a hyper sensitivity to topics which are clearly being discussed with tong firmly in cheek!.

I suggest Gary or one of his gimps sets up a "serious" section of the forum and a "light hearted" section of the forum thus letting those who can and those who cannot distingush between humour and serious debate both use the facility to suit their needs.

P.s Ive got nowt against students either, but I'll still gladly take the piss out of the workshy unwashed of fallowfield as I find it humourous to do so.

Its a right foooking hike from mobberly station to the bird in hand, the railway is well,,there!!!

Golden Pheasant at plumley usually gets a visit when we're going northwich aswell

Loads of alty gathered around the front lawn area by mid afternoon drinking warm frothy beer watching the trains idle between manchester and chester, and the freight trains carry the limestone from buxton to northwich and north wales, aaah marvellous!

Hughesy,

This is a reciprocal arrangement. The Vics Stewards came to ML on Boxing Day and helped us as do the Southport Stewards regularly when we play them. We also had a representation from York City when they visited recently.

When Darren says that our stewards will be helping out he means just that, helping out. He doesn't mean getting in and watching the match for free.

Jesus Phil lighten up. it's St Northwich day for god sake. ::)

Getting the in the railway in Hale at about lunchtime, to meet various fiends, leaving there at somepoint around 2pm once the remainder of those in our party have arrived, getting the train up and probably going in the golden peasant in plumley which is right next to plumley station, not going into northwich town centre this year, getting off the train at lostock gralam and drinking in the slow and easy or the black greyhound this evening, the new ground is at least a 40 minute walk from the town  centre.
