from alty website:
Altrincham FC hope to complete the signing today, on loan till the end of the season, of Halifax Town striker Chris Senior. He was set to sign yesterday but weather conditions prevented that and he is expected to sign instead this lunchtime. 25 year-old Chris played against us recently at The Shay. As recently as November 2006, the Halifax boss Chris Wilder told the Halifax Courier, "Chris Senior was a major contributor in what we achieved last season" when the Shaymen reached the play-off final.
After a trial with Halifax Town in summer of 2003, Huddersfield-born Senior joined Scarborough, where he stayed till summer 2005. He started 31 league games for the Seadogs and netted 18 goals. He moved to Halifax on a free transfer in summer 2005 and made 21(+40) appearances for the Shaymen.
Chris joins Colin Little, Steve Bushell, Justin Bowler, Val Owen and Karl Munroe as ex-Shaymen currently at Moss Lane.
the question i have to ask is do we need another striker? surely we are in need of a left back more, unless GH is looking to play a 433 for the rest for the season
