« on: December 03, 2019, 06:40:17 PM »Who was the lad from Wythenshawe during Heathcote’s tenure? He only played a few games I think. Looked promising but didn’t get much of a look in. Think his first game he unfortunately passed it back to the opposition centre forward and they scored.
Danny Heffernan? He ended up playing professionally believe it or not!

Interesting to note the career trajectories of the 5 youth/reserve graduates present in that squad.
Heathcote plays for Widnes, Cain is at 1874 Northwich, Davis still plays for the reserves where Swift is his manager. Stouppus doesn't appear to play at all.

Coates and possibly Holmes (if it's Danny?) and Holden (if James) later played for Alty too
