I'll be putting in an order I hope, looks very good.

Pity they're using all those best insults up on the internet, plenty of time to make them in person in the coming years.

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: This £5 entry offer on Saturday
« on: April 03, 2012, 07:22:36 PM »
Most people i have spoken to think £13 for the second division of non league football is outrageous. I don't think reducing it to £5 on a permanent basis would bring in enough extra people to make it worthwhile, but doing it once or twice a season might be worth considering if it is advertised properly. I assume the main aim of Saturdays offer is to bring in a few United and City fans who might come again if their club is playing away. Speaking purely from my own situation if it was £5 for everyone i would bring a party of eight (£40) but now it will just be me and my son (£26) so the club will miss out on £14 plus whatever the others would have spent inside the stadium. On a separate issue why is there never anyone selling programmes outside the ground?

They sell them just inside the turnstiles at the Golf Road End, but they don't yell like most league grounds seem to so they're easy to miss.

Anyone in the mood for an edge of the seat chase for goals?

2-1

As someone with relatives who follow Nuneaton, this for me has taken on enormous importance. Absolute fixture of the season on Saturday.

I think that link may be personalised to Hamilton because it didn't work for me. Try this:

For those who can't wait, what's the predominant colours?

Although I'd prefer a neutral venue I can definitely see where the Conference are coming from. Unless it's at Wembley then no one's going to pick up the local paper and think "local team's gotten to the play off final, I'll just drive miles and miles to take the kids to that".

Results today sound like the entire league is trying to bottle it.
