Obviously we can't know, but isn't it a tiny percentage of players at this level who are under multiyear contracts anyway? Nearly everyone is available every summer if they want the move.

I still cant understand why a few Alty fans didnt sort the problem out. I hope Alty is not like most places these days where people are scared to stand up for what is right and justice. I wasnt at the match but I understand the majority of Chester fans were in the away area.

The away end and the far third of the pop side were very crowded, with presumably well behaved Chester fans. Just a particular group of C**ts in the GRE.

There were a few police in the GRE for a while, at least 4, possibly a few more, because there were four police cars parked up outside when I left.

Wrexham were the same a few years back. It seems the Welsh-scouse outfits get a bit giddy at the local games.

When did Wrexham do it? I remember Wrexham had a few in the wrong end one time, but it seemed to be just dads with kids being friendly.

There is a picture on Twitter of Mark and another member of his band at the top of Snowdon, accompanied by this comment

Words fail me!!, what an unbelievable fighter and long may he continue to be so as well

Every superlative in the dictionary, we'd be about 1% of the way there. What a man.

Giggs was born in Cardiff, moving to Swinton at the age of six.

Never stayed over night in Edale, but it's a nice place for walking, has a pub and is the shortest of hops from Stockport.

Also one of my nearest, as well as B Stortford.
How eay is it to get to Oxford City's ground from the City centre as it looks quite far out?

Not actually been to that area, but seems to be a bus ride away from the train station, or walkable if you enjoy long walks, it'd be pretty scenic.

How long will it be before football goes down the road of allowing "residential status " for inclusion in national teams  as happens in rugby,
 athletics and cricket ?

Wouldn't be surprised if it goes the other way.

There was a good Four Four Two article absolutely ages ago about the whole thing, saying FIFA were going to be looking at making it harder to change your country, and say you have to have lived there as a child. Maybe they decided against changing the rules, but considering the speed these bureaucrats move at, wouldn't suprise me if they're just getting round to it.

Good stuff for us southern based fans but Brackley is off the rail network and Oxford City looks to be in a field somewhere near Oxford  :-\

Hope there are plenty cabs.

Far as I can tell it's a bus ride away from the station, so no worse than Oxford United.

still 0-0 in to 2nd half of ET

About 10 to go

why are fcum fans singing argentina?  ???

It's probably actually Margentina, their chant for their manager Karl Marginson.

The Southern Premier League has yet to finish as it seems Bedford City vs AFC Totton was rained off on the last day so they're playing tomorrow. Brackley Town won it and Oxford City, Chesham United and Cambridge City are all in the play offs with the last place to be decided.

Presumably no one from the Isthmian is going to get anywhere near the Conference North.

for me to score 90 goals and only get 61 points is most certainly not a solid C

On the other hand it's better than not scoring the 90 goals at all. Blame him for a shoddy defence, but credit for the attack is certainly due (which is what most people seem to think with the good and the bad cancelling out and giving him a C).

Could and should have done better.  Hopefully Lee will be more settled in more after the break and come back with a bang.  The year for Lee to find his feet has now passed, it's time for results from the off in August.

This.
