After a really difficult start I'm really happy with the current position

3 points off playoffs is decent

I feel we are only a decent striker ( If we manage to retain Coco and con Clarke) from the play offs

Just wanted to say well done for how the game was organized and stewarded yesterday under almost impossible circumstances . Another great crowd and a great atmosphere

I am sat contemplating the current management team and comparing them to the many i have seen over the years .

For me personally the best managers I saw us under have been John King, Graham Heathcote and Phil Parkinson ( I enjoyed others at times of course IE Bernard and Lee etc)

Thinking of the year that I was convinced we were going to get promoted under King we had a significant budget then when I think of Graham and Phil we were and are to a larger extend underdogs

I'm not getting carried away as the season is barley underway and a lot can happen but the transformation under Phil and Neil is incredible really from the depths he took us over at

Every year we have seen a step up

And of course couple this with the pitch work and fan zone work etc and significantly increased attendances by the home support in particular it's quite nice to be a lifelong Alty fan again

Long may it continue
