I guess it's easier to keep the Genie in the bottle than try to recapture it once t's escaped.I can see the point of this tactic......it makes good sense......but an overreaction based on today's opposition (unless club had intel).
A sensibe decision in the end.
I agree, not convinced so far, but Roscoe may yet come good....we have had plenty of others that have taken some time to get up to speed.Dont where this leaves Cooper
First in line for rotation or injury replacement. Bin Roscoe or loan him out he’s terrible
One thing I thought about Lewis Baines last season is that he was a fabulous defender, but not much of a footballer. Which is fine, sometimes that's what you need - leave it to the other lads.
From what I've seen so far this season he's improved massively with the ball at his feet - much like Toby did. Much happier to receive under pressure, still very one-footed but it is what it is.
He'd be one of the first names on my teamsheet.
That is the figure I was told on Wednesday.....although at the time the deal had been agreed......but not done.Rumours Chesterfield have signed him from Macc....resisted by Savage.....sell-on fee due to Altrincham FCRumours are £25k coming Alty way..
Good signing.Without trying to fan flames, this could be our best signing of the summer.
Hard but important decision made by Phil.
This should hopefully allow Ollie to go out on loan to build his confidence, with less pressure.
Well I never. Joe Hugill has actually scored.
Bit rubbish for Maxi to come back from Poland duty and not make it on.
I would have loved to see more of Sonny Aljofree last season... given the way our pre season has started, we might need to call on him sooner rather than later.
As for goalkeepers... well, the last one ended up being a bigger disaster than Byrne.
