As reported in yesterday’s M.E.N, the raids came after a six-month probe into the sale of nearly £4m-worth of mephedrone to thousands of customers online.

Police smash £4m internet drugs empire after raids in Manchester, Salford and Bolton 

A £120,000 Aston Martin was seized from Ms White’s home on leafy Stafford Road, Monton, as part of the operation.

Last night, police confirmed Ms White, 44, had been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A, B and C drugs and two counts of money laundering.

She was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Bolton magistrates court today. According to company records, Ms White is an accountant who was listed as a director for the now-defunct Chester City football club and Widnes rugby league club for the same three-week period in March 2007.

Looking for directions to the ground for Saturday on their website and came across the following news item - quite odd really seeing as they have a new manager in place (albeit one already playing for them) and a manager of shall we say some playing pedigree

The fans forum, scheduled for Sunday 3rd March with Frank Sinclair, Gus Williams, Bob Paton and Grant Mcindoe is too be called off.
This is due to the general lack of interest this event has encountered. No questions have been e-mailed over with three weeks notice so it has been decided by the board of directors not to continue with this event.
