Just read on the main site that the No.9 in the 2nd half was a trialist which I'm pleased about because he didn't really impress me and I thought he was the highly rated striker we'd signed from Witton! Of all the trialists the lad that wore no.3 at left back in the 1st half was the most impressive but we said that about Callum Charlton last pre season!That number 3 didn't stand out for me, but I thought the tall number 2 looked half decent. James Poole looked classy, and in the second half Sam Sheridan practically ran the game single handed. It should be noted that we played most of the second half with 10 men !
I didn't notice we had 10 men,how did that come about?

We didn't see a lot of him at all, fitness certainly needed addressing, can only assume he's escaped the cull on pedigree and potential.In fairness, his pedigree doesn't read that badly. But his more recent history negates it. Potential ? Didn't see him play, but it would seem from the views of those who did that it could only be unlocked if he shed a stone or more. A wasted talent.
Under Lee Sinnott we always had a "team bonding weekend" which meant one less friendly.Maybe not that the friendlies have been arranged already but I don't recall how many friendlies we usually have, 9 seems a couple more than usual?Over the past five years the number of PSFs has varied from seven (2013 & 2016) to eight (2012, 2014, 2015), so yes, it's more than usual but not by much.
I think 9 games with a squad more or less fully assembled means we will be in an infinitely better position than last season.
I think Parky probably has a fair idea of his team and what he wants and it will force the squad to gel and perform.
I don't really care how we go up as long as we do.
Shaw lane will most likely be an (aqua) force next season. If we finish above them I think we'll be in the playoffs at least.
Don't even go there......If we don't get out of this league at the first time of asking it will be an even bigger disaster than last season's debacle.In which direction?
A sensible question this........what happens to those fans who decide to boycott home games, if we are top of the league? Do you return on the basis the club has been turned around? What happens if we win promotion and are at the top of the league or near it? Do you return?I'll probably succumb if we look good away and promotion is on the cards. But it won't feel 100% right.
At what point do you return, is what i am asking if the club is truly turned around under GR?
