Fred Done is good at working out betting odds and he thinks you should put a shed load of money on it

I've not seen enough of Mitchley to make a decision but he did enough yesterday to ensure he should come on the pitch before Brooke.
I'm a big fan of James Lawrie but he had an absolute nightmare yesterday, we were probably lucky that he didn't cost us the match.
It might just be the position he was playing in though, there were times yesterday when he and Nicky were both playing as left wingers and almost fighting for the ball. I think the team will look far better when Duncan gets back and thank goodness that the chance at the end fell to Damian!
Still, we would have lost that game last season, is the tide finally turning?
Superb performance from Rodgers, well done.
Really? It was a good team performance but again Rodgers gave the ball away time after time.
Defo Rogers best game and mom imho
Superb performance from Rodgers, well done.
The one name in there that totally staggers me is Stewart Downing, who's just had a season so downright bad that I'd pick Nicky Clee in front of him !
0 goals and 0 assists all seasons speaks for itself
Martin o'neill, need someone good at handling an average team and getting the most out of them, hodgson couldnt motivate a rat in a burger king bin
Positives
-Tries to play attractive football, lots of goals, seems to have got he best out of Reeves, giving youth teamers a chance.
Negatives
- Never truly in contention for a play off place (only in them for a week or so all season, 2 shambolic cup defeats - one away at a team from the league below, one at home to a team two leagues below (although not much worse then every other recent manager in this case), 27 games without a single clean sheet and only 3 all season, ridiculous amount of goals scored, some odd tactics at times
and most worryingly some appaling player recruitment, starting off with giving all of last seasons tripe the chance to stay, transfer wise only Redshaw, Lawrie and to an extent Flynn M could be said to have been upto scratch. This season's gone, I think it should have been better but as we can see, people have different views on that so it's where we go from here that counts and I'm not sure LS and NT have the contacts or nous to take us forward based on what I've seen.
I hope I'm wrong. However, if you look at the season like this I'm afraid I'm heading closer to John Crewe's F than the C's that others are suggesting.
Good highlights again, some great goals in there. I'm still not sure whether the Gainsborough player was on or offside for their third?
Lee shows flashes of brilliance and great understanding at times. Some of the performances have been simply stunning, whilst others have been absolute garbage.Sometimes, he can flounder and not have the right solution to some problems presented. The majority of his colleagues are supportive with some excellent results he has had this season. Progressing to later stages of any cup competion was also a mjor concern and will need to be also addressed. Hopefully, with further funds being released shortly due to contracts expiring, he may have the money to secure his proven goalscorer, along with some further quality additions and the full backing of the management team.
Overall a satisfactory year, with some encouraging signs. There are some good foundations in place, and this is a vital year for Lee to go on to progress and achieve his full potential. Good Luck
Overall Grade-C+
Expected Grade -2012/13 A
do we have to go over this again?
Poor
Overall Grade - F
I'm going to lay myself open to ridicule here but sod it, I'm completely missing something.
Did that guy say "Vics haven't paid any of their creditors in the CVA so can we just cancel it?"
I don't think anyone has suggested that you might go there to watch the Referee (that is for sad, other Referees like me)
However I don't think it unreasonable to highlight it when a local bloke and Alty fan is successful in his chosen career and that success is recognised by a 'plum' appointment. And when sais chap is as well known to as many people as Ant is I would say that is even more reason to bring his success to the attention of the forumites.
Many apologies if my initial post has caused you offence
this is not a refereeing forum ATS
the ref should be seen and not heard
we not on here to discuss you and your ilk
This thread is too linear, we need to consider the maths, football is played in shapes so a team with a triangular passing approach need to consider that the area of a triangle is half the base X the height, whereas zonal marking needs to be measured in square metres. Clearly, with a shorter smaller pitch we need players who can deal with tangents as the pass needs to find the shortest point, consequentely the angle between the corner flag and the preferred standing option of Reeves needs to be a low cosine of the distance to the near post.
Sort the basics out Lee!
