I think everyone knows that we're going to end up signing Jordan Sinnott unfortunatley.

He's having a good game tonightat full back

If "Homeward Bound" had been written in Hull rather than Wigan(allegedly) we'd have a field day with this.   ;D

Nice one Steve you certainly make more sense than most on here! I reckon a lot of fans probably share your view but won't say so on here because they'd de shouted down

I'm 99% certain that the statement from AFC at the time he left specifically said he wouldn't be allowed to play against us in the play offs. I can't be arsed to trawl through the archives to verify it though.

The guy on there forum who thinks UEFA rules will apply is clearly bonkers.

Great result. I'll be surprised if anyone else takes 6 points of them this season. Best team I've seen this season.

how long out of the play off positions in what most see as the most winnable league for years will we accept before saying enough is enough?

My feeling is we have to show consistent signs of improvement to championship form ...and we have to do it in the next 3 games....no more time to give...

If we bought a new manager in he would be bound to bring in a couple of vital players that could be all the difference.

Lee should be cancelling his xmas and working 24/7 to bring in the players required so we get the promotion back to the skrill national or it wont be a happy 2014 for anyone!

Merry Xmas one and all....

So what exactly do you think Mr Sinnott should be doing tomorrow while you enjoy your turkey? There are some strange people on this forum!

The ref  wasn't good yesterday but that wasn't the reason we lost. Some of the things you hear from some of our fans are unbelievable at times. The one that springs to mind yesterday was Moults booking, definitely the right decision by the ref but plenty of one eyed idiots claimed it wasn't even a foul but I'm sure if it had been the other way round then the same nobs would have been calling for a red.

I don't think it was a pen.

I was stood on the mausoleum bang in front of it.
yeah it's not as though the player lunges in misses the ball and takes the player and the ball continues on

It's either a pen or simulation

Anyway all bye the bye now

The ref was in perfect position why he didn't book Clee for the blatant dive I'll never know

I think everyone would start with Clee if he's fully fit ( I assume he wasn't yesterday).

I would prefer to keep Perry on the bench for now, I just think it was fantastic yesterday knowing we had something different on the bench and I think he could change games time and time again when it isn't quite working.

Smickle disappointed me a bit yesterday because he kept turning back but I guess that's what happens when a left footed player plays on the right. I'd prefer to see him on the left where he could take the full back on on the outside but there must be a reason he's known as a right sided player.

Time will tell now, but I trust Lee to do the right think, I cannot imagine he would sign a player after just seeing him for 35 minutes, he may be at training this week.

My worry is, we haven't acted quickly or decisively enough this summer with regards to a winger (which I'd still have wanted even with Dunc here) and thus LS is going to have to make a decision based on 35 minutes worth of football..

That's intriguing, you must have some inside info I don't have. Who was it we could have had if LS had been more decisive?

Oxford isnt that weird either, and I fear them currently more than Telford and Brackley

I will eat my hat if Oxford finish above Telford.

I don't think we can win this league without at least two signings. Telford look very strong to me.

I too would like to see a couple more signings but I don't agree that we can't win the league without more signings. If we get off to a good start then we can build some momentum and we have got the quality to get on a roll.

We definitely need a couple of forwards now but I'd be happy with Lawrie up front, I've always thought he's best when playing there.

I thought I would be gutted when Duncan eventually left us but actually I'm just really pleased for him that he's got such a good move. I'll definitely miss watching those dazzling runs but life goes on and it had to happen sooner or later.

Good luck Duncan, looking forward to seeing you on the telly giving Premier League defenders nightmares.

They are clearly trying to convince themselves that they only lost due to a weakened team, bad management if he made so many changes as to give his team no chance which is what he seems to be suggesting. Aspin claims he wasn't interested in the result, maybe he should have told his players because their reactions after the goals told a very different story.

Predictable and probably fair reaction from Hailfax fans i.e. we played a fringe team and lost - big deal we can beat Guiseley. They do however point out they were playing Alty's 'first team' - more pertinently it's the only one we've got - I bet Lee would love to rest 6,7, or 8 first choice palyers and still field a team of BSN standard. I would respectfully suggest that whichever of the full strength play-off sides we played second half would've got a bit of a chasing.

Stuart got a good rest last night!
