We can sign all the attacking players we want but until the preoccupation with retaining possession over attacking and the inexplicable policy of going backwards and sideways, allowing opposition to get back behind the ball changes we will continue to struggle to make any tangible progress.

That's a fallacy

We still look as though possession is our primary concern and if we score then that's a bonus.
An example being last night when one of their players picked up possession after the inevitable breakdown of one of our interminable passing sessions. He set off toward our goal, directly and at pace, no stopping to look for a sideways pass, just progress and a desire to score.
Much has been said about Osborne so I'll leave that subject.
Jordan actually gives us nothing. He looks for a CB when he comes on and is content then to engage in a 'wrestling contest'. A successful striker tries to get away from defenders, Jordan does the opposite. In terms of closing diwn, too often he seems to raise, at best, a quick jog toward defenders with seemingly no real intent to apply any pressure.
Sadly I think we need a significant change in system / philosophy / personnel definitely on the field of play, possibly in the dugout

I'm not referring to the Dorking game in isolation as well you know

I wonder whether the decision to withdraw him at half time rather than at the time of the injury may have been a ruse to sidestep the concussion protocol to which you allude

I accept that historically Pringle hasn't lasted 90 minutes.

I have put forward my views on this already.

Messrs Barrows and Jackson, amongst others have also demonstrated an inability to last a whole game with tangibly less criticism

Odd interview from their manager (found on you tube via their TWITTER)
Seems to accept the blame, then says some of their playerd were sh!t
Credits Alty and the suggests they could have won it in the second half

I, together with those with whom I stood  thought he was excellent today.
Goal well deserved
Obviously Byrne made important saves but, for us, Marcus MoM

Whilst taking your point it is much easier to evaluate what you most often see.
There is no doubt of his effectiveness having been introduced from the bench.
I just wonder whether enough has been seen of him as a starter for worthwhile evaluation to be permitted.
If, for arguments sake he started, played as he can and allowed us to score 2 or 3 before being withdrawn, might that not be better than hurling him into the fray in an attempt to rescue a situation?

Pringle seems to want to look forward whenever he can.
Also he seems able to find a nice little ball quite often and will track back too.
Given what we have available I'd start hi regularly

Am I alone in being concerned / confused by the apparent increase in injuries suffered since we went full time.

Of our 'serious' ones I can think of only one sustained during a match
