We've had a few visitors recently but IMO the ones that pose valid sensible posts should be welcomed, ie Macc23 seems a sound bloke. Lets reserve the vitriol for the useless idiots like vicster etc?

Slightly off the thread but AFC Wimbledon have a thing called The Dons Directory. The idea is that AFCW fans who offer services (Fnaarr fnaarr) are listed so that fans use fans to do jobs at a general discount so that it works both ways. A good scheme I think provided its not abused. Maybe one for the fundraising section of the forum?

I don't mind if they stay up for a bit as financial meltdown surely beckons. I'm also hoping for the leagues first sub 1,000 gate for years at their place.

As it says being a FA cup game the ultimate sanction is expulsion from the tournament. Bearing in mind they'll likely get knocked out next round anyway its hardly an issue, especially if they appeal and the jobs been done anyway by the time its heard?

would 593 be the "official" gate for reasons of sharing the receipts? Do as you would be done to Tamworth! ;)

And there's Jeff Johnson, third from right, back row. He did well to play for 79 years then!

Thing is if Geoff thinks that is bad, I once received a parking ticket at work while inside a police cordon, dealing with a dangerous building. The idiot also ticketed two police vehicles. It was only when the copper on the tape over the road spotted him and told him to leave the area that he stopped but he wouldn't remove the tickets! They were cancelled by the council however, but it just goes to show the type of tw*t that does that job.............like, could any of you do that for a living?

A proper honestly run club. In our last relegation season we turned up at Stevenage about 10mins after ko, to find the away turnstiles closed. After knocking on the gate two stewards let us in and asked for the admission money, which they then blatently shared between them(we didn't pass through a turnstile). On complaining we were asked whether we wanted to see the rest of the game or not and where were our tickets!!

Thing is Chelsea struggle to sell tickets for early round cup games, they even advertise on London radio stations. I'd guess no more than 20,000 there, so Macc to take about £225,000 at most. Not to be sniffed at I agree but not exactly 750k is it?

IMO a good use of the 100th post, baiting a Macc fan!!
