Just another reason we need segregation. Wasn't the incident sparked by Witton fans celebrating?

No, no it wasn’t.

The incident was reported to the clubs social channels, and in a follow up conversatio

"None of those blokes said anything whatsoever to him.  A couple of them turned round to me and said they’d not spoken to him or anything, they just cheered and clapped their goal, what’s wrong with that?"

"There were some Witton fans. Harmless middle aged blokes who of course, celebrated their first goal.  He went totally mad used every name under the sun"

Sounds like Witton fans - who did celebrate every goal like a cup final today - annoyed someone, with a history of ranting.

His outburst was after they’d gone 2 1 up close to half time, the Wilton fans were chatting amongst themselves, he just snapped. What happened after that I don’t know but it was certainly not to do with the celebration of a goal

I was stood right next to him along with several well humoured Witton fans. He just snapped and went on a rant for a few minutes, didn’t really say anything untoward but swearing several times with kids in front of him has obviously led to someone complaining. By the time the whistle went for half time I didn’t hear anything more so surprised he got booted out. He clearly has a mild mental issue

He started swearing and shouting again at HT - the steward asked him to calm down. He didn't - he was then asked to leave - he then went for the steward.

Oh dear. In response to SW the steward that first came over that I saw has certainly been at ML a while

I saw about 10 people just walk through the gates. Would have put the crowd closer to 400. Not surprised if only 269 paid, including all Alty fans credit where it’s due

I certainly wouldn’t begrudge a small NL club my admittance fee

One of my favourite 'older' memories of Alty (I'm 31) was Poland's hat trick in that FA Cup replay at Lancaster.

If my memory serves me correctly, before Christmas it had been us, them and Burton in a 3-way title race. Burton had exited the cups early and concetrated on getting points on the board. They were never caught, and they aren't doing too bad these days either...

I was at that game as well. Whatever happened to Lee Poland. If memory serves me right Rod Thornley also scored. We then played Darlo at home?

Andy Reid was one of the players that sticks in my mind the second season id been following Alty, the 94-95 one, great partnership with Paul France.

RIP Andy

For a small dose of humour I hope he’s retaking that well known throw in up there!

Got to be a reason why? Something behind the scenes....

As a side note is the hiring of stewards from other clubs and I presume paying them a wedge causing a conflict?

I don't think so never used to they haven't used any as i'm aware this season.

There’s a Stockport County steward who’s regularly been at our games

When i stood down in 2011 we had stewards train in NVQ levels 2 and 3 and average about 25-30 volunteer stewards on the books it saddens me now to see
the club are down to less then 5 stewards.

It isn't The Club has aired anything for be factually correct

Have you jumbled your sentence up for a laugh?

Was speaking to a steward today, he said they get paid and it has been rumoured this was to be removed so they were all planning on leaving. I presumed all in house stewards were voluntary?

Just have this feeling that Bembo-Leta will commit silly fouls and give away penalties. Very fit lad but I just don't rate him as a defender. Dens is reliable and can get forward on the overlap.
We defo need Richman back in that midfield.

Densmore gave away the ball twice today easily which led to a counter attack. You seem to have it in for Bembo

Ive said it before, when our lads play to there potential there isn't a team in this league we should fear.
A performance like last Tues and we will win comfortably.

3-0 Alty
Att 666

4-0 to Alty, don’t think anywhere near 666, more like 444

Hi, does anybody know what the parking is like at the ground?

I’ve been about 4 times in the last few years and always parked up on the hill residential area up Old Road opposite the ground

Jesus. For once we've actually turned up and played instead of the inevitable. Two well worked goals, Wittons keeper is extremely poor. Probably should've had a penalty for a foul on Poole as well. Hopefully see it out as we've got players in odd positions due to Richman going off after a poor challenge
