yes, while i'm sure the householders there won't thank us for saying so, over the last few years i have driven up a few times and never had problems parking in the streets opposite the main stand and a bit further down the road

not quite mate
3 years earlier in 1977 we played them at their place and they spanked us 5-0
that was devastating as a young lad (well 14) which is why when we took them to the cleaners a few years later it was so satisfying

This is the 43rd post on a guy who has decided to sign for Droylsden. Who cares? I wasn't heading off to JJB to get "Brownhill - 3" put on an Alty shirt anytime soon.

Let's move on.

sensible post
players decide to go elsewhere all the time, its up to him where he plays
bad decision but....whatever - have a good career

any sportsman worth anything wants to play at the highest level possible. anyone without that drive is not needed.

i for one wish him luck and respect his decision
most of that message only makes sense though if he really doesnt have faith in his own ability. what sort of sportsman deliberately plays at a lower level if its not for the money? if he had faith in his own ability why would competition for his place worry hm?
this is a big year for the club and we cant afford players who arent up to it, so it sounds like a good decision all round

i had a tenner on croatia 12/1 which seeems reasonable now. i think if eduardo was fit they might actually do it

otherwise, after the second round of games i wrote on another board

the spanish will under achieve
the dutch will self destruct
the germans will win in the end
this is the order of things

i see no reason to change my opinion now
