My Mrs has come to quite a few of the games I've managed to get to.
She prefers watching Alty because we can stand so she can get away from me when I get abusive/depressed/just plain stupid.
The difference in outlook was shown by our trip to Lewes a few seasons ago. She loved the picturesque ground, pleasant weather and nice pubs and shop in the town. I thought it was all cr@p because we were abysmal.

Seems to be a really good signing.
Understanding between defenders is so important and it can't have helped that we never really had a settled back four last season. Having two players who already have a decent understanding and did well last season is a huge bonus.

I'm pretty happy with that group. It's the makings of a decent squad.
I'm hopeful that Phelan and McGivern will be better after a full pre-season with the team.
As everyone else has said, next season is likely to hang on whether we can put together a decent defence. Unfortunately I think tight defences are built over more than one season.
It would be a minor miracle if we managed to build a miserly defence for the first half of next season from where we are at the moment.
I'm hopeful that Phelan and McGivern will be better after a full pre-season with the team.
