I can't stand screaming and shouting at games . I like it nice and quiet . Let's make it over 18s only with keep quiet signs round the perimeter

We have Ryan a place to move on from his off field matters. Gave him a fresh start and he has repaid us. It would be nice to have a team of his calibre.
if we had a team of his calibre we would not be in this league

I still don’t think Parky knows his strongest XI which is scary at this stage of the season. It seems as though we inevitably go 1 down and then Parky is happy trying to bore the oppo into submission by us passing the ball around the back 4. Try something different ffs
we don't even have a consistent captain yet

Alty 0-2 Barnet. All Dinanga's fault even though he doesn't make the squad.
pretty scary that !

Looking at Seedr's this morning the club 172% of target, £516,757 from 159 investors

amazing investment to date. Hopefully money will be well spent..
amazing really . Be interested to see the breakdown of where the funds will go

Baines and Marriott on the bench. Newby to start.  I would have Jordon up top.

Have a feeling that Ryan will have a special game tomorrow.
Jordan is not  an out and out striker we need him feeding the striker ... Don't ask me who that is however

As I do this journey the other way week in week out, i'd suggest the old road towards northwich etc ending in chester is probably the best bet.  The diversion will be through warrington and the M6 then cross country is messy
we hate Northwich Etc
Macclesfield too?
and Witton?

I see both sides of this the revenue and atmosphere. If revenue is so important you would have thought the continued issues at the bar that were pointed out on numerous times would have been resolved immediately and not left to drag on

For me the atmosphere tips the balance give them the chequers end and family stand as the truth is if we don't have the atmosphere advantage we may not have the additional revenue conundrum to worry about

I agree the official site is pretty poor and slow with news, match reports, features etc etc. I still rely upon John Laidlaw..............However this story is about the work the club are doing in the community and in particular two injured players who have gone to visit some of the towns elderly residents..........one of whom was Stan Riley. Now I do not know Stan to talk to, but do know that he and his late wife attended most games home and away for many years and often attended functions and sponsor events. So well done in that respect to the club.
the club does incredible things in the community time and time again it's fantastic. However we are a football club first and foremost you would expect with our full time ambitious approach now to be able to provide match updates on the site

Are we pretending Gateshead didn't happen, John?

Nothing on the website (That I can see) regarding a) result b) report and c) any insights from management on another cup upset.

Bored of moaning about the new site. The match centre still thinks sandbach was our last game!
full time and proud of it

Might head down to Congleton for their big game against Fylde this Saturday lunch (can't get over to Notts).

Away day out at Bamber Bridge / Buxton / Hyde / Hanley / Congleton / Stocksbridge / Clitheroe / Bury will do OK.
Congleton game already sold out I believe

That's what I thought, but they still seem to be available on the club website for now.
