Altrincham FC First Team / Reality Check!!
« on: February 10, 2007, 06:10:06 PM »
Ok, today was a poor result against a very good team with pace throughout, but at the end of the day, 1 nil or 4 nil, same points lost. 48 points is still an atainable target. Dont give up on your team, a couple of wins and this result will be forgotten. To me luck is playing a large part, hitting woodwork and referee's decision's going against us.This lack of luck has to change. Avoiding relegation is still in Alty's hands, DONT WRITE 'EM OFF YET, KEEP THE FAITH!!

Altrincham FC First Team / Full Time?
« on: February 06, 2007, 07:56:34 PM »
What do all these Full Time clubs do all day? For a full time outfit, Southport, in my opinion, did'nt dominate Saturday's game at any stage, and if chances had been converted, would have suffered a heavy home defeat. And that attendance was dismal, other than the trevelling Alty fans, some 300 I would suggest. Still a long way to go, avoiding relegation is still very much in Alty's hands, plenty of fixtures where points can be picked up.

Altrincham FC First Team / TARGET?
« on: January 21, 2007, 03:57:35 PM »
Supposing Crawley, Weymouth and Rushden survive their various off-field problems, how many points should ensure maintaining Conference National status for next season? I suggest 48 points would be sufficient.
