Some finish from the wOrST eVeR aLtRiNcHaM pLaYeR…….
So glad I didn't have to be the only one to say this.

7 in 12 is a decent return for them...

👍 Look, we were right to let him go as he simply wasn’t converting for us. But he was always on the end of chances and had the second highest xG (if you rea
d into it) in the League after Langstaff. Clearly a confidence player that never clicked at Alty.

Never a bad player and some of the stick he got on here and in person absolutely reeked. Should be ashamed.
"Never a bad player". I presume you're joking there.
I always said he was probably a very nice person, just a terrible player for Alty.
I'm glad he seems to have found a team he can play better for.

Another side that were there for the taking. After 70 minutes of looking like a pub side we somehow got our act together in the end.
If Notts and Wrexham go up this year we have an unbelievable chance of attaining football league status at thd end of next season. I really don't see anyone else who stands out from the pack.

Great quote from Maher after the match, bemoaning their bad luck.
"Ralphy hits the post in the first half, a foot either side and it's in!"
The basic geography of football goalposts is obviously beyond him.

We need Jordan to come on here and inject some positivity. I think he would find it difficult after that display.

Crying out for Linney second half. They are there for the taking.

If Byron Harrison has ever tackled someone, beaten someone, won a header or shown the vaguest ability to finish, he's better than Dinanga.

Taking personal feelings out of it 10 goals in 33 isn't that bad a ratio is it?

Firstly, it's ten from nearer fifty if you count sub appearances.
Secondly, how many were tap ins?
Thirdly, how many glaring misses has he had?
Fourthly, chances to goals scored ratio probably 6 or 7 to 1 when it needs to be, at the outside, 3 or 4 to 1.

As has been said elsewhere, not NL quality sadly however nice a lad and however hard he tried.

Couldn’t care less how many were tap ins!!

It’s not quite worked out but whether it’s a lockdown/bcd thing or not I don’t know but Marcus Dinanga is comfortably better than at least half a dozen of the strikers who preceded him in the season before.

To talk of him as on a par with the all time great Alty duffers is really odd to be honest?
Not odd at all. He couldn't do the basic things required by a footballer. Never tackled anyone, never beat anyone, never won a header (it's debatable if he ever actually jumped for one), and couldn't hit a barn door.
He's right up.there with the worst.

Thought Wrexham were there for the taking. We played really well but that extra bit of firepower they have saw them home.
If we keep up that standard we'll be fine.

I wonder if there's a case for playing Hugill and Linney together.
If Wrexham have a weakness its their defence and their two first choice centre backs were injured last weekend. We're not going to get anywhere sitting back and letting Mullins and Palmer run onto us.
This game was always going to be a free hit, it might be interesting to give it a go.
I do admit it probably won't happen though!

Wonder if BT Sport will have the great man himself doing some punditry on Saturday.

From hope to despair in a month. Always hoped at least Toby would stay. Can't think of many players I feel any kind of affinity with at all now.

I did. Might be harder to compare bearing in mind the standard of the opposition.
