We've also got longstanding supporters staying away this season and some only planning to attend away games. Is this what you call a legacy? Surely we deserve answers?

Absolute b*ll*cks, it's not a closed shop, it will take effort and a moneyman/men but not impossible and should remain our ambition.

This is a genuine question from a supporter of 25 years, what is your plan for the Club? You sacked Jim Harvey and replaced him with his inexperienced  assistant claiming he was the best man for the job. He had signed a few players that have resulted in 2 points. You launched a strategic review, which was urgent, the results of which have still not been revealed. Your Vice-Chairman, rated as the most effective, albeit slightly arrogant, of the Board, resigns with no explanation and tet you continue in your role, to strangle the life and and ambition out of the footballing side of the business. I believe that you don't understand the flack that you are receiving, that explains everything. Your time is up, just walk away and take Doughty and Heathcote with you. We want our ambitious Football Club back.

If we have no ambitions to he in the football league then what's the point? It might be a very long way off but as supporters surely the dream is to see your club play at the highest level possible. We have been close to almost playing in the league befire why not in the future? This is typical of Rowleys smallmindedNess which has brainwashed everyone into thinking we shouldn't have ambition as a club.

I reckon who our chairman and manager will be in August could have as much of an impact on crowds as the admission price
Indeed, if Rowley and Doughty (Heathcote) are still in charge then i wont be attending next season regardless of price, which after 25 years is a shame. However with a new Chairman and manager and some ambition for promotion, I'd happily pay £14 per game. In order to be ultra competitive though we will need to charge higher than other clubs, unless we have someone to make up the shortfall.

You're right. I'm only coming down if it is still Graham and Matt next August.

Are you serious?

If we want to come straight back up then we should keep the prices the same or make a small reduction whilst continuing with incentives for kids etc. Anyone that thinks we're just going to magic money from somewhere is deluded.

I want to know who replaces him. ...

I also want to know what happens to the share holding he had? Does he have to forfeit some of these shares or forced to sell them? I would imagine they need to be available to a new board member.

Not sure as to the answer of some of your questions, but resigning from the board normally does not trigger a requirement to sell shares (not even sure if he held any shares anyway)

However, who would want to replace him?? Alty FC is on the way down..these things tend to be cyclical in life, but anybody smart in business knows that a down cycle can easily lead to insolvency. So who wants to risk being a director of a fairly high profile entity that goes bankrupt. I am not saying Alty will go bankrupt...its just a logical consequence of any business that is failing for whatever reason. Some survive, others don't. I think we will survive, even after relegation this season, but honestly I cannot be sure.

So then there are a few types of people who would volunteer for director. Maybe a representative of a major sponsor, who is fairly secure in their own career and don't care about the risk of a bankruptcy on their CV. Or a fan representative (can't see this happening, but who knows). Anybody with money to invest almost certainly won't do it unless they gain control. Or an idiot who does not understand risk. Or nobody at all.

Did I miss any options???

What you have failed to grasp, is that the Club is a long way from bankruptcy and is in good financial health. That is part of the frustration most people have with the Board, we run a good business but the footballing side has failed dismally. We could do with more cash but then most clubs do. We cut our cloth accordingly and this will be no different next season in the Evostick. The Board deserve praise for the work they have done in eradicating the debt and creating a small profit in recent years and as a shareholder I see the financial statements, but they have grown stale, made some terrible decisions recently and need a new Chairman at the helm to provide fresh impetus into the Club.

A bloke gives his time to the club over some years and gets grief?

Thanks for your efforts, shame it ended amidst a shambolc collapse.

Was he an asset to the club? Undoubtedly.

Was he also the most patronising, abrupt, arrogant and downright rude individual I have ever met? Absolutely.

Thanks, but I won't be spilling any tears. At least this may make the board more approachable.
Are you describing the Chairman or Vice Chairman there?

So, protests on Saturday?

The best and most effective protest is to follow my lead and simply stay away. Although I could be tempted to turn up on Saturday and set fire to my season ticket on the centre spot.
unfortunately staying away isn't an effective protest because we are still getting 900 at home, vocal protest and shaming the Board into doing the right thing are our only options.

Jim should not have been sacked by a gutless Chairman who panicked and then appointed his mates.

What was Newby like?
Looked lively, if not a little lightweight.

Well, I'm going to be controversial tonight and not popular ...but I'm gonna say it. And, having been to every home game and only missed 2 away games all season I feel I have the right ...but I was pissed off with our fans picking out 2 players ( Cyrus and Hannigan) for direct stick today. Booing the ref for not sending Cyrus off, and replying to the Fylde support who were chanting Toms name with " you can have him back " is out of order. Particularly as these guys were right in front of the fans...I wonder if you'd be as brave on your own or say them face to face?

Not too sure what you expected today, and I applaud you for making the effort  to go, but it's counter productive to offer support by travelling then to loudly slag off individuals (who are not making errors deliberately). Plus, I happened to think Hannigan played well today - but of course that is personal opinion.

I'm all for the Roweley chants --he does need to go -- but he's not on the pitch and I was unhappy at these 2 players being picked out like that.

Tend to agree if I'm honest but I think and hope that they were more tongue in cheek chants than anything laughing at our own demise, especially that of Hannigan. I think most supporters would agree that he alone isn't the problem this season.

As for people saying Doughty out etc I'd have to disagree, no manager can undo what has happened here in such a short space of time, you'd need a miracle. You can't just get rid of every single manager that comes through the door if you don't see instant results, it's going to take a lot of time to turn this around.
do you think we should have kept Harvey ? .

No, because I saw absolutely no fight from him whatsoever, we actually got worse I'd say plus the players he brought in added nothing. I've seen some better players under doughty already and a little bit more tenacity. I think that's earned him some more time if nothing else. Besides the season is gone now, what manager in his right mind would want to come here until the end of the campaign?

better players? more tenacity? I don't know who you've been watching or have you been taken in my by the bullsh*t interviews with our management team.

I do. No point in sacking Harvey, unless he was replaced by someone better. Doughy was never going to work.

Matt Doughty continues to prove what a great choice as manager he was. Rowley inspired as usual.

Unfortunately we're not gearing anything. The Chairman has been heard twice since the last fans forum. When he sacked Harvey and then when he gave Doughty the job to the end of the season. Does he have a plan? Are we recruiting a proper manager for next season? Does he anything to say?
