I think the standard of refs at all levels in the british game leaves a lot to be desired.. I do admit though their job isnt made easier when you have the likes of Andy Gray and the hairy bear (Richard Keys) endlessly pawing over the re-plays of all the controversial incidents.  Anyone can make the right decision if they get to see the incident over and over again.. I also think that Linesmen should take more responsibility and assist the ref a bit more.

Managers at all levels have a habit of blaming the refs for teams under performances.. That I'm afraid is nothing to do with the officials.

I have to admit I am not a great fan of CL... to me, when a move breaks down he just puts his arms out as if it is never his fault. plus I dont think he gambles enough in the box

I am surprised that Elam didnt get more chances in the first team from the start rather than coming on as a sub.. I also agree with the posters who say that it was him who asked to be released from his contract.. We have precious little depth as it is and the 5th bookings (Young and Doughty) and a sending off today (Danylyk) wont help the cause either as they will miss the Burton game next Saturday ...

Lets just hope we arent in the "KAKA" at the end of the season

NB looking forward to a home game next Tues ... Lets hope they dont segregate the middle of the popular side again..

I think it is one but Young and Doughty both got booked and they will also be banned for 1 game, Burton are next up as well

It should be 11 pts deduction for the simple reason that if they finish just outside the relegation zone then some other poor club will get relegated instead of them...  Typical of the inconsistancies that the people who make judgement on these things ... rules are rules but obviously it boils down to who you know.....

Its disgraceful...

You shouldnt chastise people for not going to York when you dont know the reason why they werent there.. Its a fkn long way from Bournemouth which is where I am at the moment.. I expect I will see you on Thursday when we play Northwich !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:(

There is no doubt that Robbie Lawton is missed for his defensive midfield contribution. I cant agree though with the statement that the strikers are good enough. there is nobody to hold the ball up and lay it off, they insist in lumping high balls forward which the opposition defences just love. (I am 55 and could probably still outjump Little and Senior)..
Elam should be given a start and if CL and CS ran into the spaces a bit more amnd took the odd gamble instead of standing there moaning then we may get some improvement up front..  The problem will not be solved in the transfer market due to the simple fact that we aint got any cash....

It was certainly the worst I have seen them play this season. the most worrying thing is that they played with  no passion or heart in the team today.. I make a 120 mile round trip each home game to watch Alty and having watched that pathetic performance today I wonder if its worth it..

One thing is for certain the loss of Robbie Lawton in midfield is one of the main reasons we are shipping so many goals and why oh why do they keep banging high balls up to Little and Senior? arguably the two smallest players in the league !!!!

Lets hope they get there act together soon or we will be sliding back to the foot of the table
