some time ago i suggested that whilst people with no connection to the club are being invited to invest then shares should be offered to long standing fans so they can invest their cash as well as their emotions in to the club. i was told at the time that this was a good idea, but it doesn't appear to ever have been acted on.

This literally happened a few months ago. The Seedrs crowdfunding investment scheme.

We're all entitled to our opinions! I've been wrong on plenty of occasions, it's good to be self aware after all.

It is my opinion that paying someone an extra £1k a week to leave for nothing anyway is ridiculous in a season where we're extremely unlikely to be in the playoffs nor relegated.

When we signed him, the article said “till early Jan”, which I took to mean up to and including Jan 1st. I’ve not heard that we’ve extended that till the end of Jan but you may know something I don’t. My understanding is that tomorrow will be the last game of their current loan period for CCC, Jones and Jennings.

I think I heard that our away attendance at Southend was revised up to 80 on the day for some reason, although it was given as 48 initially. 80 looked about right to me.

We're owed a development fee because of his age. If a club signs a player under a particular age (23, I think?), they have to pay the selling club a fee to compensate for the effort they've put in to develop them. It's to stop big clubs snaffling the best young players from smaller clubs for nothing at the end of their contracts.

The fee for Mooney I believe has yet to be agreed, let alone paid.
