By the way are Londinium Altyiusnous  covening to witness the slaughter of the Burton hordes next thursday?

Most definitely. Well, not at all definitely, given there's the whole Trophy replay situation, but you get my drift.

It's great it's on telly, just need to find a boozer in central London that will show it! Amazed there showing us, do Stevenage/Torquay/Oxford not have a game on that day then? It's a proper traditonal derby though and probably the oldest and most long standing rivalry in the Conference, Setanta showing a bit of respect for non league heritage, whatever next?

Yes indeed, SLA. A surreal day in prospect for us London boys. It seems like the Conference is the only league that has a New Year's Day ficture programme, so I reckon we should be OK. I'm just thankful the game at our place hasn't also been moved to midday. But then we have competent stewarding of course.

Interesting article about Carlos Logan. If he really has turned things round, you have to say fair play to him and Barrow.

FGR's win also means that our home game with them on Jan 3rd will have to be rearranged.

« on: November 29, 2008, 02:41:02 PM »
The Burton game will be on the 18th (for broadcast on Setanta) IF neither Burton or ourselves get a draw in our FA Trophy games on the 13th. If either teams does get a draw, the Alty v Burton game will revert to the 20th.

How all this affects the Carol service, I don't know.

Altrincham FC First Team / Barrow v Brentford tonight

Am I right in assuming that if this game ends in a draw, our game at Holker St on Dec 9th will be postponed? FA Cup replays always seem to happen a week and a half after the original tie these days, so that would be my guess.

Yet another superb result. To have beaten full-time Mansfield, Oxford, Ebbsfleet and Cambridge at home is a tremendous achievement.

Particularly pleased for Robbie Lawton. I'm sure he was hurting after Tuesday but sounds like he scored a great winner today.

Weirdly, apart from Barrow, every other home side in the BSP today is winning at half-time.

The match that Setanta chose when Luton turned them down (Tranmere v Accrington) was played last Thursday so I assume that's when we'd have been shown had Luton agreed to it.
What I am asking is was the Crawley game moved to the thursday from monday?

Looks like it:

It's unrelated to the Alty v Luton issues though, isn't it?
