Lack of pace.
3 CB's and 3 CM's, too defensive.
Would always have a front 3, with wingbacks.
Linney, CCC, Amaluzor
Linney, Amaluzor, Kossy
Linney, Amaluzor, Donowa
Etc
Thinking too much about tactics and the opposition.
Good enough to play our strongest team and formation . York are bang average.
Always aim to get in the lead and not chase goals late on.

I've never been a fan of taking off attackers and bringing on defenders at the end of matches, it just invites the opposition to come forwards. We're more than good enough for this league, lets keep our style of play going for the whole game.

Agreed, we need to keep attacking until we are at least 2 goals clear.

Amaluzor needs to be kept on for 90 mins. He's an athlete and rapid.

If we go three CBs then I would still have Amaluzor and Donawa on the pitch. We would nick goals on the counter.

Cracking result.

Baffled that anyone has concerns about Linney. That is 10 in 15 games, plus assists.

Even when he doesn't score he is a massive threat.

Linney is a big threat and we need to stick with him.

Osborne had a good game last Saturday, but I worry about him in away games. He goes missing often.

I think it's a case of I really want to like him but he keeps displaying traits that convince me to wish we had someone better and more reliable.

Should have just kept CCC, gone for a second,he was dictating the game.

Would have kept Amaluzor on a lot longer.

Joey Jones looked lost when he came on. Might have been better having Wilson's energy.

Or if we had chosen to go 3 at the back, then Roscoe for his height.

i assume Amaluzor was told to play more central second half, but it nullified him.

Can't fault any player. Ross and Osbourne were superb.

The white elephant is Linneys inability to score

Should have scored.

Linney will come good. He was a menace.

Confident him and CCC will form a decent partnership. Something we've missed since the Hulme and Hancock days.

First half was a typical first game.
Second half we were better, Kossy and CCC stepped up.
Should have kept Amaluzor on the pitch. At times he lost it, but he was a threat with his drives, could be an improved Ceesay.
Never a fan of going defensive with a goal in it and we need to consider when we decide to do it, with all the extra time that will be played. Felt as soon as CCC went off we sat back, far too long.
Ross was very very good. Fair result, but Ross didn't deserve to concede then.
Osborne had a good game.
Overall, a top day and love the Fanzone.

I think we are a CM short of a playoff team, but still good chance we can creep into them.
Small squad so keeping players fit is vital.
Would be class if we could get Maxi on loan.
Think we will be much better at the back.
