You're right Sanghall , we won 3-0 at Oswestry in the FA cup 4th Qual rd in 1971 -2 , Tony scored one of our goals onat a really 'strange' type of ground . We lost 1-0 at Rossendale in Round 1 to a penalty that hit the post twice and Willie Maileys leg before going in !  Tony was one of our better forwards back then , unfortunately moving on to Macc and doing well there too !

Should change the Golf Road to the Zigger Zagger Stand and a statue of KP next to the fanzone ....eventually 😀

All of Mossley's success was inspired by their fitness fanatic manager , the late Bob Murphy who i got to know quite well . He gave them the confidence and belief that they could beat anybody and most opponents could'nt cope with their energetic attacking play , he was pretty much the Brian Clough of non league !    I faced Eamonn O'Keefe in a schools cup tie , we turned up with 8 players and as captain i was told to man mark their star player  , we lost 8-1 but Eamonn did'nt score .  He deservedly went on to play for Everton and Ireland and i Sunday league stuff . Such is life .😒

That was more one sided than the Weymouth and Eastleigh games .  Ryan and especially Dan were all over them in that second half . Lost count of the shots that flew high or wide . Thought they were pretty poor for their FT and league standing tbh .

York is a nicer and easier place to get to than Boston. That's reason enough to want York to win it.

Full respect for Toby who could have moved 2 levels higher to a big ex Prem Lge team on a free and more dosh . There will most likely be some sort of contract clause for the future but nonetheless it's a real touch of loyalty to the club . Top work  by all.

Witton , Stafford , Buxton , Stalybridge , Droylsden , Enfield , Barrow were all worthy of consideration perhaps Matlock , Kettering and Boston .

Honestly don't mind their club or team too much ..... but those moron fans .... , sat next to Sean Williams dad in their pop side stand a few years back  - what a load of a_ _holes . For that reason more than anything  i don't want them back at our level .

With all the excitement of the FT announcement , not surprising lack of views from Monday !
The lads indeed looked very 'leggy' especially in the second half when Barnet repeatedly ran right through our midfield before Parky added reinforcements .  They looked far better than their position in the table too.  Not too unhappy with the draw tbh .  Anyway lets get 'Back to the Future'.🙂
