Harsh. His strength, hold up and link up work has been very good at times, one example was his superb strength and pass to set up Conn Clarke for the first goal in the home cup game vs Gateshead.

It was mad yes, but given we were losing on 85 mins it could have been worse!
They were awful first half, we were awful second half (at least until we went 3-2 down anyway).
First half was a good reaction to a bad cup exit in midweek. We should have been 4-0 up at HT.
We've been crap at penalties for years, it predates Marcus and Parky by a long way (I know Ryan scored one in a home win a few weeks ago btw).

Second half they got an early goal and we struggled to make two passes. It seemed like we had 8 men.
Couldn't believe it when we went 4-3 up. Second half we were mostly out of it. Pleased for Jordan who took his goal very well, good to have him back in the goals.
Agree about the schoolboy errors that cost us their late goals.

Ryan on the bench?

Indeed. Lucky to still be in the tie after slightly baffling team selection. Poor first half, Gateshead should have wrapped it up then.

We went up a couple of levels once the subs were made to get us closer to our best team and might have nicked a win late on.

Hope Chris Conn Clarke is OK, he had an excellent game today.

Excellent result, delighted for Parky, Sorvs and the lads.
Sounded like Marcus's goal was a belter.

Indeed, the start of the second half used to be our best time of the match, this season it has been the worst. Today, we were so flat after the break we deserved to lose - passive, no energy, nothing - we just sat back and let SC**thorpe dominate, it was inevitable they would score.

We only started playing with energy, pace and effort again when we went 2-1 down. If we'd played like that before we'd have won.

Kaja was impressive, definite decent threat on the right. Marcus needs to work a lot on his runs if he is going to score, there were 3 decent crosses put in and he didn't get on the end of any of them.

The equaliser came from our hesitation at the back post and the winner seemed to bounce around off someone's arse, will need to see the highlights on how it went in, but two pretty scrappy goals let in seemed to knock the stuffing out of us for a while.

Thought we then came back into it more as the second half wore on, we now have a stronger bench than in previous seasons and Chris Conn Clarke was lively. Thought we might have played the final ball a bit quicker a few times to be able to test Servalan more in their goal.

Some pretty good performances though.
