Boring 0-0 draw. People call for PP's head. Demo outside the refreshment kiosk after the game as there were no pound pies.

Did we have a shot on target? If we did I missed it. And with Linney already out, it worries me that Nuttall looked to have pulled a muscle. If he's not fit for Saturday we have a major problem.

Too high a level for him. He will get found out and no doubt Papa Byrne will be tweeting

The last club I thought would look at him. Were those concerned in his signing somewhere else when PP hooked him at half time at Broadhurst Park after he'd let in three really poor goals? Maybe they want him as a second choice keeper. That's about his mark. The poorest keeper we've had since the appalling Andrew Dawber, with whom he shares a tendency to blame somebody else whenever he makes one of his all-too-frequent howlers.

We absolutely MUST strike a deal with Kharel Reddin. He looks like exactly the sort of player who will flourish with us.

Surely the season tickets will be arriving shortly as well? (we don't have the electronic ones!) 😉

You must be the only person in the UK with faith in Royal Mail.....

Curzon's site is now correctly showing 7.45

I believe Regan Linney picked up a knock late on at Warrington on Saturday. Hopefully it's minor. Slightly concerning to see Justin Amaluzor come straight off after scoring too. I thought we were very fortunate to be level at half time, but in the end we deserved the draw. Tylor Golden will probably get picked up by an EFL club, but I thought Kharel Reddin looked well worth trying to get on board. I was quite impressed by Max Haygarth too.

I noticed this morning that the FlashScores app is showing this game as a 1pm kickoff. I initially dismissed it as an error, but on visiting Curzon's fixtures it's showing as TBD. Does anyone know anything? Are we perhaps planning to play the game behind closed doors?

Having watched Parky's interview he's training with us with eyes of EFL... But you never know

Players hoping to catch the eye of EFL clubs can't fail to have noted how Chris Conn-Clarke's development in our setup has helped him into League One after his progress at Fleetwood had stalled. We're an attractive proposition for players like Tylor Golden, and that puts us in a strong position to bring in others if they appear.

JL site says those two games are at home to Hartlepool and Gateshead in October

My apologies! It's FEBRUARY I have in mind. The wind will be whistling up the Tyne, and I may have to enjoy my beers at the Dolphin indoors rather than in the garden 😂

I can make out a case for a North East mini break in October when we visit Gateshead and Hartlepool in the space of 4 days.

I wouldn?t go to the north east in October, you will miss a couple of important home games!

Not unless they're being played on the intervening Sunday and Monday. Or are you thinking I might overdose on Cameron's bitter in Hartlepool?

I was all geared up to go by train, and enjoy a few beers afterwards. I only got as far as Altrincham Interchange. The bloody trams are down. It's Radio Alty this afternoon now.

The usual bizarre midweek away fixtures - Barnet and Maidenhead early on.

Woking (H) to start the season! 😉

9th time in 10 seasons our first game has been at home. We haven't won any of them.
