We have the lion's share of possession in most games we play, but we too often fail to make it count. Study the post match stats in the Premier and EFL, and just see how many winning teams have less ball than their opponents - and we have the same problem with teams who soak up our pressure and then take advantage of our inability to deal with set pieces.

Strange definition of domination ! Apart from the first 15 minutes of the first half, I thought we were poor. Too many of our passes sideways or backwards, or to opponents. We lack the guile to deal with a well organised defence. But above all, we STILL fail to deal with far too many balls into our box. That was our undoing tonight.

Hulme can't do it all on his own up front, and I'm afraid Peers isn't the answer to that problem. We need another proven striker before our season totally implodes.

Barnet are without an away win in 8 matches - last win was on August 31st. They needed a home replay to see off Potters Bar in the FA Cup. Eminently beatable if we can do the business tomorrow.

Forecast for next 36 hours isn't too bad. Shouldn't be any danger of a postponement.

I thought the draw was a fair result. Let's hope our pitch is playable on Tuesday. The referee was absolutely bizarre.

Welcome aboard Ethan. You could have a big role to play here, and it's a great chance to gain experience before you hopefully progress at Preston in the future.

We can win this - and frankly we need to.

Farsley 0
Alty.      2 (Hulme, Moult)

For me it's not about like it dislike. I can't see it properly!

You are not alone. For most of the second half at Kidderminster I had no idea what we were doing on the far side of the pitch (though admittedly it didn't seem to be anything significant).

As with Bury it's not the league's responsibility to run clubs properly, that is the boards concern.

The league has a duty to other members that each club can fulfil all their fxtures. Fixtures = income. That process seems a bit flimsy.

The League's fit and proper test is not fit for purpose. They needed to come down hard on Macclesfield's owner.

Didnt i see one of their twitter accounts laughing at us for going out of the fa cup saying "its happening again",  ooh the irony

To be fair to Macc they have spotted we get knocked out of the FA Cup every season. Top work.

What they didn't spot was that we got through three more rounds than they did....

Pity that Harrop picked up a booking.
