A major part of a great era for the club.
My condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P.

A good win, decent performance and hopefully good enough to tempt a few more into the JDavidson and BT another visit

I just hope that we don't do what we did with Joel Senior, selling him midseason to avoid him leaving on a free.

Ryan Colclough is worth more to us staying for the season and leaving on a free, than the nominal fee we would receive for the remainder of his contract.

Where is Joel Senior these days?

Sorry, wrong Senior!

Baines and Marriott on the bench. Newby to start.  I would have Jordon up top.

Have a feeling that Ryan will have a special game tomorrow.
Jordan is not  an out and out striker we need him feeding the striker ... Don't ask me who that is however

Jennings!

He didn't really want to be here though apart from putting himself in the shop window (which I don't have a problem with by the way).

Agreed! I think we all knew that was the case....and good luck to him.

As a footnote I see Gateshead bowed out today 2-3 to Stevenage in front of a whopping 1,039 fans including 139 from Stevenage. Doesn’t excuse our limp exit but certainly gave me a cheer this afternoon.

Unsustainable for a club at this level; pitiful...and a little bit funny!

Where does that leave Kaja and Jackson?

At last!!! The most bloody obvious Alty signing in years given his situation at Stockport / previous ties to us.

Hopefully he does well and we can make it permanent.

As for Kaja and Jackson, it leaves them both figuring out how they can get fit enough to play 90 minutes of football.

Would probably expect Kaja to stay on the bench and Jackson to be loaned out again.

Danny Elliott from Borehamwood next please.

I suspect Kaja may be seen as an impact sub.

Why could we not play the whole game like we did the last 15-20 mins?

Any chance of a selection of Vintage Ports or even Malmsey Madeira for those of us with more refined palates?

And while we're at it, what is the wine referred to on the list?

I should add that I don't mean to have a go, and certainly it's a nice problem to have, deciding which craft beers to have in our new fan zone. Just that we might as well make things as good as they can be!

Half a bottle of Blue Nun!

Tough as it gets. They haven't been as dominant as i thought they would be. I think we will be defending for long periods. The front man is going to have to hold the ball up much better than last night

                              Byrne

Barrows.    J. Jones.  Cooper.  E. Jones

                    Osborne.     Lundstram

          Kaja.      Conn-Clarke.  Colclough

                             Hulme

No score prediction but this wont define our season.

Good luck to all

I would defo go with this team against Wrexham.

I think Parkie will either keep the same team OR bring Jackson in on the right wing to help protect the defence.

When you have that much pressure in the first half you have to kill the game.
Why did Colc not take the pen?

Same old defensive frailties.

...and there we have it. Straight after half time.

I swear to God if we end up throwing this away...

Indeed!

Become a bigger game than it was this time last week. Whether we were better than Gateshead or not they bungled us out of the fa cup 2 years on the bounce. Individual errors, poor team tactics, poor finishing have raised questions of where we're at. In the sh*t imho.

                              Byrne

Barrows.  J. Jones. Cooper.   E. Jones

              Osbourne.     Lundstram

     Hulme.    Conn-Clarke.    Colclough

                       Dinanga

Torquay 2-2 Alty. (Dinanga, Conn-Clarke)

I think the above 11 is good enough to beat a poor Torquay side, but the amount of individual errors we make is killing us.

Good luck to all who travel

Right so far!
