Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Wealdstone Away This Saturday

OMG, it's Airplane, the 1980 film, all over again!

Surely it isn't!

At work I ask customers if they have a store card and get the answer, "Actually I have!"
To which I reply "Don't call me Ashley!"

See the official club website for details.
Will 5 consecutive away games be a record?
No. That's a circular bit of plastic with a hole in the middle.
Hth

That is such a bad joke I'd be proud of it! LOL

It's good to see that we were compliant in changing the date...unlike another club we could mention!

I should mention that Heathcote jumping on my lap for a fuss is nothing to do with any affection. My seat has a very comfortable furry cushion and I am between him and it!

Good to chat with other members of the Alty family tonight, including Lawrence our co- chairman - we'd welcome more participants so please get in touch with Steve and join us.

Seconded!
For me it was lovely to hear from Harold, with whom I have chatted on RR for so long.

I'm glad Dover let us have this interview!!!!!!

Well guess that scuppers any chance of a re-arranged game this Saturday then... :(

Guess maybe use the day as an extra training session then...
I haven't checked. What are Hartlepool doing? If they're free perhaps a friendly?

I don’t think so

Are Dover free?

Would be brilliant for him under such a great manager: (from John Laidlar):

The Teesside Gazette Live reports that Middlesbrough boss "Neil Warnock is interested in signing Duncan Watmore after the former Sunderland forward impressed on trial at Boro.

It says he's signed forms which I understand to mean just a registration rather than a contract.

Might do a Potter!

We should have looked into this. Some player to drop that quickly.
He could always do a Clayton/Potter at Leek

Will he be on a contract?

It's not explicit in this article from the Stoke Sentinel, but it's implied that he is doing Neil Baker a favour while Leek have an injury crisis. He  would have to fit football in with his interest in the pub mentioned in the article in Cheddleton, near Leek, although, thanks to Boris Johnson, that might not be so much of an issue right now.

https://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-ryan-shotton-leek-town-4658575

It would be a shame if he became a loss to football.
I am sure a part time club at tthe highest possible level could be good for him to see out his career.

Premier league will continue, but will we be able to play during the latest shambles?

Do we count as "Elite*"

*Not sure Dover do with their behaviour today!
nor Hartlepool with their win at all costs philosophy ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺

Judging by tonight's annihilation that philosophy has more holes in it than Swiss cheese ☹️

You'd need a heart of stone not to laugh!

this was a great result and radio kent said TT was like Peter Schmicheal
Now you come to mention it, I've never seen them together.

How red is TT's nose!

I know a fella he could help out in a couple of months.

We’re fine. I think Brian telling their steward to ‘shut your f**king mouth’ after he pulled leads out of his computer to try and stop us broadcasting was his finest moment, of many.

That was indisputably pure Radio Robins broadcasting gold.

A Eucharistic minister at his finest!

I could hear that from the bog!
I get nervous listening to Alty too. ☺

Many LOLs

My ex told me she was at a LibDem conference and they were talking about building sh*ts on the Clyde, so I thought I would halp (living in the Forth of Clyde), though it's not impossible I heard her wong!
