Are the Club showing the draw live as they did for the last one?

He gave the ball away more in the 45 minutes he was on than any other player I have ever seen. He was correctly withdrawn and should be nowhere near the starting 11 on Saturday.

To be fair, the same accusation could be made to the entire team, minus Thompson. It was abject from everyone, so totally wrong to single out one player. I could do the same for a different player, but I don’t see the point. By your logic, we would need to play the reserves on Saturday as everyone was crap..

For info, the amount raised is currently over £470. This is remarkable, and in no small measure due to the generosity of Alty fans, players and staff. All that can be said is to thank you all very much. Just the small matter of 6 hours in the saddle to come 🙂

Drench turned his ankle and Malarkey is class.

Sleep well

Drench has snapped his Achilles ....a little more serious than “ turned his ankle” !!  Could be his season done, out for months at least.

Yeah the issue on transfers seems to be that the current team is not showing on the transfer page, therefore not allowing you to select anyone to move out etc. You would think this would be an easy fix

I think he may give Max a starting role, probably at the expense of Walters. Also wouldn’t be surprised to see Dens on the bench, but we have many combinations at the back which will work...including the welcome addition of Mullarkey who has been excellent in pre season. My only concern ( whisper it ) is that Jordan hasn’t been firing pre season at all....not scored and has looked off the pace to me. Hoping he comes alive on Saturday.

We have trust in Parky, so we have to go with what he says in terms of Nathan’s travelling. I can’t help but have nagging doubts....having driven to Lincoln and back for the cup match a couple of years ago...not sure I’d fancy that return trip 3 times a week for the season. Having said that , it sounds like he has covered it off with him and is good to go.

As ever, a fine interview. Personally can’t see Matt Chadwick getting a new deal as I’m not sure he is the standard we need...the bar has been raised a notch with this signing. I doubt we’ll have Callum back either, unless he’s loaned back to us to get experience. Also good that Stephen Drench is fit again ....Thommo certainly needs competition for his place.

Looks a great signing on paper, welcome to Alty Nathan. Slightly concerned that he has taken a sabbatical for 6 months ...hoping he has recharged or whatever he felt he needed to do ...great prospect of playing with 2 fast wingers again. Fine catalogue of goals on You Tube, including a belter at Alty!

Hoping that we give Pooley a new deal....he showed signs when he was fitter at the back end of the season and play offs that his ball retention and class are a step above anyone else in the squad.

Also hoping for Jones too, he had a much better season and has come on loads, still a young lad. I’m not sure if Ben will get a new deal, his injuries may count against him...but I’d love to see him back too. And Dens of course ......

Heard on the grapevine that Elliot may have been released. That’s a shame in my opinion...very talented young keeper who seemed to fit in well. We were never going to keep all 3... but I’m saddened that it looks like he may be on his way out. Hopefully he’ll get himself a good move.

Brilliant news on both signing on....hopefully we can have a better idea by the end of the week on the make up of the squad. But...this is a great start ...these 2 guys are vital to the way we play our football.
