I can’t believe that some think there may be some hope of play offs to end this season, absolutely no chance! Surely safety comes first for everyone involved ...players, staff and supporters, and until a proven vaccine comes on stream then safety cannot be guaranteed.

The timescales involved negate any chance of football at our level...maybe the Prem with their bottomless pits of cash swilling about can play behind closed doors while milking in the TV money, but at our level there is no chance of that. I think we will be lucky to see any live football this side of Christmas, sounds grim but that is my realistic opinion. How many clubs at our level survive long enough to see it through until they can earn some gate money etc remains to be seen, our supports fabulous response to the fundraising initiatives will hopefully help us.

That’s how I see it, and it’s up for debate, but I do wish there was more realism in this talk about play offs.

Having so far generated £530 for the club, keep your bids coming in, today’s auction is a pair of GK shorts in size XLB, details on twitter and Facebook, good luck!!
That’s a brilliant effort Ian, great support for the Club at this time

We all know the handshake embargo is farcical, considering players shove, hug, pull and kick the crap out of each other during a match. Never mind how they celebrate goals.

So as you say SBL, it will be interesting to see how it develops.

There’s talk of Premier League games in this country being played behind closed doors in the not too distant future if this virus continues to spread, as seems likely.

Do we think this would be extended to the rest of the pyramid, in particular to our level?

He really has blossomed in the last few games, anyone who went to Hereford last week will testify to that. Crewe must be delighted that we have given him every minute since he joined us, hoping that Parky can somehow persuade them to extend the loan to the end of the season. His range of passing has improved too as he has become more comfortable with our system. We’ve had some great loans in the last few seasons, but this lad is the best of the lot in my opinion.

First of 3 massive games, imperative we don't lose.

Probably will be same starting 11, but I wouldn't be surprised is Mahon came in for Durrell.

Looking forward to putting my unbeaten (in 90mins) record on the line.

Alty 2-1 Spennymoor. Hulme, Moult.

You seriously think he’ll drop Durrell after 3 goals in 3 games?

Don’t believe a word coming from that Twitter account. Linked us with a few players last season, Jordan was apparently nailed on to join Chester etc etc...none of which happened. It’s all click bait, aimed I’m sure at unsettling Clubs.

Disappointed to see people falling for it tbh, one of the many downsides of social media.

Just from a personal standpoint ....I’d be pleased to see the back of the scaffolding on the Pop side. Looks so scruffy, does nothing for the general look of the ground and impairs viewing. Low cost improvement, surely we can do better?

Willo has only taken one for us, and missed it against Farsley.  Not sure what the answer is, not seen Jordan take one yet....worth a try?

Good to see Tom Marshall get a couple of mentions, him and Hannigan  would have made a great partnership in my opinion.

Morning all Alty!! I travelled down last night with a full carload ...left Timperley at 4pm, arrived at the hotel in Fareham dead on 8:15. Very happy with that  considering rush hour Friday night traffic....for any driving today I’d recommend the route. Took the A34 from the M40, past Oxford then M3 and M27. No problems whatsoever. Safe trip for everyone, come on lads we can do this.
