It certainly was at the outset of the project but snowballing costs etc, etc.
We need to quit moaning and start drinking.
it will take quite a while to recover the money laid out so far.
Do one
Send me to my grave when Im cross at children enjoying themselves.
Let me know when the funeral is - I'll arrange for a group of unsupervised 7 year olds to run amok during the eulogy.
He was clueless before his injury so tonight being his first game for a while is irrelevant really
An extremely poor signing
He started the first six games.
D4
L2
He played three of the six out of position covering at left back.
I’m not arsed enough to go back through the highlights to be honest but I’ll happily retract my defence of him if you can point out various individual errors in each of the six games that would point to him being inept, but I suspect you won’t be able to, apart from the back pass to Mee at Maidenhead which Mee should have dealt with to be honest.
Incredibly lazy and frankly weird comment.
You don’t have to look very hard. The second goal last night he is facing the wrong way to defend the corner and not looking at the ball. There’s a photo on Barnet’s Instagram (don’t know how to attach on here). Facing your own goal when defending a corner isn’t the sign of a good defender.
It may be that we need to trim the wage bill before we can bring anybody in. That's not easy when players we have on contract are almost certainly unattractive to other clubs. I mean, would YOU buy Osborne or Dinanga ? We'd have to pay them off, then bang goes our kitty. We're only 3 points outside the drop zone again, and others below us are showing at least some signs of gumption. We were beaten last night by a team whose current run of form was deplorable. It simply isn't good enough, and our tactics need looking at as a matter of priority.
Dinanga isnt a player I'd lose, but the lad has scored 6 and probably will hit 13/14 He scored a ton in South.
If I were a step 2 club, Id bite your hand off for him.
I can't remember the last striker we had who was capable of having a shot at point blank range go out for a throw in.
Just for the record what was on offer in the Fanzone?
Overpriced craft beer
£4 is very reasonable and matches what Libero used to charge.

This was the opening night offering but I know this is going to expand in the weeks ahead. The Cloudwater German lager or pale ale were the two offerings on draught but I know we want to get it up to 6 (including a cider) on draught plus lots more bottles/cans and low/no alcoholic beers too plus the wines. I’d expect gradual improvements to the offering each week starting with Wealdstone on Tuesday night. A pint was £4 on Tuesday which as someone who regularly drinks these kind of beers is decent VFM.
In a broader sense considering the FZ wasn’t really advertised at the ground on the night it was v busy both before the game and at HT with lots of regulars supping in there. This kind of beer offering is what so many of us have been crying out for a long time & I for one hope it goes from strength to strength. The knock on effect too is that the queues for those who prefer the CSH should be shorter too. I just hope there is a way too we can bring Paul & Libero back into the fold.
Curious incidentally Seth where you normally drink around our home games?

As mentioned amongst our WhatsApp chat, billy sass davies and Ferguson both not picking up much game time. 2 big 6 pointers await.
Smith back would be excellent but not where our focus needs to be urgently, although we've lost Bennet for a while
We had that in 1971!Smart phones and printers sound like something from the 21st century. I'm going to watch Tomorrow's World and see if I can learn anything about them. There’s also a robot voice you can have in your car that directs you to your destination. Sounds a bit far fetched to me.
