No limits on loans in the Trophy, as confirmed in Phil's interview with Brian.
Gyasi however is cup-tied.
Looked a lot better when Pringle and Linney came on.
Can't believe people are slating Osbourne, thought he was our 2nd best player behind Marriott.
Welsh-Hayes had a poor game by his standards, but the real issue is Byrne. I believe we've invested heavy in him but he looks shot.
Going to be a long hard 2-3 weeks
Did we? I thought we got him for free hence the issuenin August.
This is the problem (and theres problems having 2 keepers in reduced quality) of 1 GK
Are we allowed to have seven loans in the squad? (admitted only three in the starting line up) I thought the rules said only five (could be wrong!)Not sure if applies for the FA Trophy, hopefully the club know
I'm as disappointed as anyone to lose our best players but if some of the stuff on here was to be believed then we're sitting on a mountain of cash doing nothing, not trying to keep players, or sign new ones. When we look at the progress here over the last few years do people seriously believe that it's true?
2,000 against a team with next to no away support on a weekend in January when city and United were home was a ridiculous crowd. We have lots to play for, interest in the club has never been higher, the same management in the boardroom and dugout have made this club the strongest it's been for over 30 years. I'm not pretending everything is rosy, it isn't, but some of the hysteria is unbelievable.
Strongest finances in 20 years, but the fan experience is at its lowest, fan engaement is at its lowest and weve sols 2 fan-loved signings.
Let's not pretend this is all okay. A big 6 months ahead.
Agreed, it's not all ok and I made that clear. If the fan experience is so poor why are the crowds higher than ever? Just curious to know.
That's the club we are at present. PP has given Colclough and Mullarkey a chance to shine and they have. I feel both have undersold themselves in terms of who they joined.
Another rebuilding job in the summer.
On their day, Wrexham are a class apart from any other team in this league and so I think the best we can hope for is not to ship 4 or 5 without reply. That said, Wrexham will be tired from their dealings in the FA Cup, so we should not write ourselves out of it yet. On the subject of gaining maximum revenue from the away section, I think the Club will be mindful that not giving sufficient space to those that are travelling will increase the likelihood of them ending up in the home section. While I can see why you wouldn't want to give them any advantage, I think the opportunity to increase the coffers when funds are sorely needed, has to be taken.are we struggling for money ? After all the recent money raised and sale of Coco and probably Toby I would have thought we were in a very healthy position for money .
