Crest on the badge, and Signal on the shirts.

i really enjoyed that. actually watched it three times back to back. i wonder how many other clubs would have included a dodgy goals conceded section?

I take it from years of experience Northern saying they expect to run more or less a normal service to mean the train you are planning to get will be cancelled.

Starting yet again with a brand new Altrincham team, and predicting another round of wholesale half-season changes, i'm managing my expectations with a prediction of somewhere between 10th and 15th.

Really hope Notts go up. Without them and Wrexham the league will have a bit more balance to it.

I seem to keep seeing that Wrexham are a village community club that have come from absolutely nowhere and defied the odds to gain promotion.

Given the gulf in status between the two clubs , this was probably the most embarrassing competitive result in memory , eclipsing the likes of Pwllheli , Winsford , Cammell Lairds , Trafford etc .

What about General Chemicals? 🙄

What about Tow Law?

Phils comments here

Matt Gould dropped the ball because James Jones came flying back in to him. Whether there was a shout or not I have no idea. I wasn't too impressed by the stares Gould received afterwards. Didn't reflect the best of team spirit.

this team has lost that cohesiveness that earlier part-time lower division parky sides had by having pretty much the same players on the pitch game in game out. this year i believe being full time has worked against them as there have been too many loan players and too much chopping and changing. of course having to sell two of the best players didn't help.  if this game had been played in alty's evostik season i believe they'd have won as that team was used to winning and expected to win. i think this team is full of doubt.

having said that the players on the pitch should have put their chances away. i believe a cows arse and some banjos are being delivered to egerton later this morning for additional practice.

I want to avoid saying anything negative so I will just like to say how good they were and wish them all the best.

not what i was originally going to post, but actually i'll second that.

it's hard to be critical of anyone doing anything for the club in their own time and purely for the love of altrincham fc, but if things can't be commented constructively the club will never improve the things that need improving.

far too cosy, but the interviews are by club people, not reporters.
