I might be dreaming here but I think the first batch of proper seats in the main stand came from the old Ayresome Park, Middlesbrough.

Sutton reduced standing tickets to ?10 and seats to ?14 for last nights game v Tamworth. The attendance was 951.

A much improved performance on the last two games I?ve seen (Braintree and Solihull at home). Still the odd pass going astray when it really shouldn?t and there is clearly a need for a striker who will take the burden off Linney and Newby.
Reddin had a good game and is tricky and fast but sometimes too tricky. Olsen is destined for a future in the game and is bulky and mature for his years.
I felt we gave the number 19, Hannent, far too much space and time on the right, he was allowed to get the ball into the box over and over again without any real pressure, and indeed this lead to the equalising goal.
Gateshead were decent though and a point was probably fair.

I might have missed something but who was the lad Thompson who came on?

He had a cameo role in the Bradford PSF but no time to do much. Apparently he is a grandson or something of former Man U keeper Les Sealey.

I think that supporters of low risk teams should have access especially as, unlike many clubs, we do not have bar facilities in the away end. It would need to be discretely stewarded and there shouldn?t be any behaviour which may cause some of our own supporters to choose not to use the CSH, for example boisterous chanting.

I note on John Laidlar?s site that he scored yesterday for Vauxhall Motors. Must be well into his 40s now.

I thought we were the better side for the first 15-20 but then they seemed to suss us out and were in all honesty much cuter and savvier. Like many of the successful southern teams over the years they can play the ref a bit and use gamesmanship and just break you down with that high press and the ability to get behind the line
I don?t think we are a poor side and I doubt we will get on the wrong side of too many hammerings like that.
Not sure about Nuttall though sorry to say.

Apparently Sutton have one of those hybrid pitches now.

So what?s the source of this information? In fairness after the Bromley game I bumped into some lads on Victoria Station and one lad was a mate of Regen Linley, Preston accent and everything and he mentioned Ccc To Peterborough then. Who knows, rumours and discourse.

Sincerely hoping York do the business tonight and Kiddy also pull off the escape with maybe Woking or Wealdstone joining BW, Dorking, & Oxford.

Hi Brian. Thank you for the comprehensive and honest reply. I’m not really looking for an alternative prize or any compensation at all, this subject really only got raised due to this thread popping up. It is however useful if it helps to improve process.
All I really was after last time was for someone else to benefit from the prize I couldn’t use, and being near to Christmas I thought it would have been nice if it went to someone who in the club’s eyes would really appreciate it and particularly if it was someone who maybe wouldn’t normally be able to afford to buy hospitality.
The moment has gone and I’m happy to move on.
