Altrincham FC First Team / FA Trophy Semi Finals..

Our appearance in this year's semi got me thinking. I vaguely remember as a young Alty fan the marathon semi of 76-77. My first taste of footy "aggro" at the home leg against Scarborough. What I was really trying to recall though was I'm sure Mickey Moore missed a penalty in one of the replays that would have got us to Wembley instead of Scarborough? Did he miss a pen in one of those games? I'm sure he did but I'm sure someone on here can enlighten me!

I’ve been cleaning out my Dad’s study and he has a draw full of Alty memorabilia. Programmes and cuttings from some of our greatest moments. I’m loath to pitch any of this stuff. Anyone on here or know of anyone who would give this Alty archive a home?

Stewarding is a tough, demanding, and often thankless task, think we should all be grateful for the job Alty's stewards do, especially today. See the following comments from Sean Riley our physio from the official site:-
I would also like to complement our stewards for their assistance in the safe removal of Michael from the pitch, the involvement of the stewards during this incident was as vital as my own, and they were faultless in the execution of the correct proceedure on removing an injured player from the pitch. Run had to come to an end at some point, although I fancied us for a point today. Lets just hope we can put another little run together at some point this season. If we can I think it will be the difference between staying up relatively comfortably and struggling again right down to the last day. Come on Alty!

What is that now? 22 for the season and 18 in the BSP? Something like that. Don't think you can say enough about a player with that kind of goal haul in a team that has struggled all season. Top quality and we'd be bottom and gone by now without him.

Am I right about this? Since our return to the Conference we have taken a grand total of 0 points from Woking ?! Seems like that is correct and couldn't be bothered doing a "Statto" to look it up as I'm sure there are many on here who can confirm/deny this!
