Calderdale council are looking to address a shortfall in their future budget. One option they are considering is selling The Shay.

Altrincham FC First Team / Promotion to Football League

There's a small piece in today's Times suggesting next month EFL clubs will be discussing the possibility of changing the rules so three National clubs get promoted at the end of each season.
We shall have to wait and see if anything comes of it. Obviously the bottom half of Div 2 will be against it.

Just a rumour at the moment but it looks like phoenix rugby club Wasps are looking to do a groundshare with Solihull Moors.
If it turns out to be true that might put paid to any pretty football on the Damson Park pitch.
